company has established a good reputation with operators and players and is well known throughout the Spanish gaming industry. At ICE, e-gaming entertained visitors from
various Latin American countries where the company is progressing with installations every month; they met customers from Mexico, Panama and Colombia, where e-gaming has already installed significant quantities of SBG terminals. Some new deals were sealed during ICE
2018 for several jurisdictions for SBG terminals, plus providing game content for several online casinos. e-gaming is expecting certification of their
SBG system very soon for two new jurisdictions in Asia where they made a deal with a strategic partner for this region. During this edition e-gaming presented a
portfolio of five new games which are already in test in some of their best locations and where early results are really promising. Most distributors and local partners of e-gaming were present at the stand during the three days of ICE presenting new products and games for their jurisdiction. Many Belgian operators visited to see the new game packs for their country – e-gaming has some very popular titles in Class 2 venues and their games attracted a lot of online players on several Belgian casino websites. Soon e-gaming’s game content will be
enjoyed by players on three online casinos which will give e-gaming a more important presence in the Belgian online gaming sector. At this moment e-gaming has already over
80 game titles and is always developing new titles for different jurisdictions. Business so far in 2018 is very positive and
ICE has only reinforced that the future is bright for e-gaming.

explained to Casino International: “We have increased our presence at ICE slowly but steadily over the years, and it has been a priority to grow in Europe, service the customer base at the same level we do in the US, Canada and Australia. We have the right team now, and we have the right product. We now have Jon Temple who is going to be general manager for Gary Platt Europe. He will handle our relationships for OEMs, infrastructure, production and assembly here for Gary Platt.” Jon Temple added: “The response we have had at the show has been phenomenal. The

OVOMATIC, Europe’s leading gaming technology group, once again impressed with the biggest
appearance at the world’s most important gaming fair, ICE. Across a surface area of approximately
4,700m2, a total of 25 group companies presented the comprehensive NOVOMATIC product portfolio. The offer ranged from high-end casino equipment, systems and cash management solutions to arcade and pub products, sports betting, and online, mobile and social gaming. Four brand new cabinets were unveiled – PANTHERA, PANTHERA Curve, V.I.P. Lounge Curve and Grand Roulette II – for international casino markets. The Enchanted Fortunes Linked Jackpot presented an array of special jackpot games and licensed content played a major role on the stand with themed games based on From Dusk Til Dawn, Batman, Austin Powers and Sherlock Holmes.
“With this trade show appearance, which
was again the largest, NOVOMATIC continues to prove that as a full-service provider, we are among the world’s leading gaming technology groups,” said Harald Neumann, CEO of NOVOMATIC AG. The NOVOMATIC Group has seen strong
growth in recent times, primarily through strategic acquisitions. The company now has 300 shareholdings, around 230 of which are consolidated in the balance sheet. On January 5 this year, the finalization of the majority holding in the Australian industry giant Ainsworth Game Technology Limited marked a significant milestone in the history of NOVOMATIC AG. “Having grown a lot over the past few years, we will this year focus on increasing synergies between companies and, correspondingly, on more effective internal structures,” added Neumann. “Nevertheless, we will continue to watch the market and make purchases, where it makes sense.”
market-leading operators in Europe have shown a great interest in Gary Platt having a European base and the additional support we can offer them locally.”

EO John Connelly told Casino International: “ICE for us – and from what I am hearing from other suppliers
at the event – is considerably better than the past few years. Global economic conditions have definitely impacted the industry, attendance is up a lot at the show in general and especially at our booth – and the people that are here, are here to do business. We have commitments in the region of three times the volume we have seen the past couple of years. The sector seems to be strong, there is capital available and on top of that the momentum behind the ETG segment itself is growing year on year. All of that combined makes for a very interesting ICE 2018 for us. What products were leading the line for
Interblock? John elaborated: “We are known for innovation, we always have new things at
the show but I would say the biggest thing for us at the moment is the Stadium. The concept itself was between five and ten per cent of our growth – this year it is in excess of 55% of our growth. It’s gone from being something of interest to being a staple in several casino groups. This industry often follows trends and we are at a point where Stadium has reached a kind of momentum needed to really move. You’ll see a lot of new products emerging within that concept too.”

laytech used ICE to showcase the company’s Omni-channel Playtech ONE suite of software and BI productivity
tools, plus their huge selection of in-house and premium branded content from eight global studios – and if that’s not enough there is the entire next-generation offering – which the company says is by far the most comprehensive, powerful and innovative in the industry today. A key highlight of Playtech’s was the
