ICE 2018

ICE 2018 Y

Bigger, better… We hear the same words every year, and from more than one event. So was ICE 2018 bigger and better?

es, it was. Bigger, and better. ExCeL as a venue is great; it’s still a shame about the transport links to and from (the DLR is an absolute nightmare when leaving the event) but the actual venue could not be better. Ample seating in the concourse, loads of food choices, plenty

of toilets, and easy to navigate. Every company working internationally in gaming was there,

pretty much, and there was some great product on show. So without further ado…

Alfastreet I

CE marks the official start of the year as far as the latest gaming equipment is concerned, with every producer showing off

the latest and most advanced gaming equipment currently available in the industry. Alfastreet once again brought a stand full of state-of-the-art equipment, confirming the company’s leading position and status as a future trend-setter. Crowds gathered around Alfastreet’s

brand-new Car Race track, proving once again Dallmeier D

allmeier has announced that the recent ICE show in London was extremely positive for the

company: “Our new CAT product was extremely well received by the major European casino operators who had attended live product demonstrations during the show,” said Konrad Hechtbauer, Dallmeier’s Project & Application Development Director. At the show Dallmeier’s Casino Division team presented for the first time in Europe their brand new innovative Casino Automation Technology (CAT) dedicated to live gaming and table gaming automation. Dallmeier has recently carried out several successful tests in live casino environments and CAT has proven to be an accurate, secure and market-ready product.

the versatility and successful implementation of the Royal Derby platform. The rally racing themed gaming machine is third in line, after the renowned and established horse racing, and last year’s boat race version. The attractive racetrack was complemented by the Felix T single terminal, that replaces the former SL single terminal, deservedly retired after a long and extremely successful stint on gaming floors worldwide. The futuristic design incorporates the 27” monitors in a beautiful shape, packed with hardware of next generation. Of course, the terminal supports all of the technical solutions from the

company, appreciated by the players: Multigame and the Simultaneous Play options, paired with connectivity to virtually any automated and/or live game source. Felix T serves also as a base for various fixed machine setups, such as Felix 7, shown at the booth – the machine offers all of the advantages of an Alfastreet machine and adds impressive floor presence and countless lighting options to make any casino space attractive beyond expectations. All of the machines can be customized to fit any client wishes and requirements. Alfastreet’s Multi-touch automated

gaming floor transparency and help casino operations understand gaming table performance as well as reduce labour costs and minimise human fallibility.

Dallmeier’s CAT is easy to integrate and install, doesn’t require additional sensors, is not CMS system specific, does not depend on RFID technology (but can integrate with it), interfaces and operates with any Smart dealing shoe, uses standard CCTV cameras and is not system-specific. The company has closely worked with

its customers in developing the system, to be confident the product would best

The main function of CAT is overall table game tracking and real-time player rating. The advanced system was created to help casino operators to increase profits, mitigate risks, protect gaming table integrity, streamline operations via real-time data analysis, achieve

match operators’ needs and expectations. CAT is an overall Table Management System and the data it produces can be used in many aspect of operations, such as marketing, gaming and surveillance, to name a few.
