VR tech brings Essential Bathrooms to life in showrooms


Essential Bathrooms has made it easier than ever for customers to view its range – by making it virtual. Essential – Ideal Bathrooms’ private label brand – has partnered with Virtual


Worlds to bring its entire catalogue of over 600 products to life through 3D and 4D technology. Virtual Worlds enables retailers to work with showroom customers to


create virtual reality bathrooms using Essential’s products, allowing them to experience their bathroom design before work begins. Andrew Cotterill, category manager of Essential, said: “Using this technology


allows retailers to build a true picture of how their customers’ bathrooms, or showroom displays, will not only look but feel, letting them move around and interact with products.” Nathan Maclean, managing director of Virtual Worlds, added: “Thanks to

Kudos Gin Pairing Gift Pack


To mark the arrival of a long awaited summer and to thank retailers for continual support, Kudos is giving away these lovely locally made premium Gin Pairing Gift Packs until the end of August. Kudos has paired their premium shower doors with two local award-


winning premium gin distilleries; Penningtons based in Kendal close to where Kudos began manufacturing over 20 years ago and the Big Hill Distillery in Mobberley, Cheshire situated close to their new finished goods warehouse. The gift pack containing 50ml of Lakeland Moon Gin and 50ml of the

Three new members for Kbsa T


he Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association, (Kbsa) has welcomed two new retailers and one


corporate member into its membership. Fox Kitchens based in Settle, North Yorkshire and Compact Interiors based in Bromley Kent, and the world’s largest manufacturer of High Pressure Laminate (HPL), Formica Limited, all joined in May. Fox Kitchens has been established in the home improvement and


house renovations market since 2003 and has an established reputation for excellence in the design and installation of bespoke kitchens. Compact Kitchens has been established for 20 years and offers bespoke interior design and installations for kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Formica Group offers a range of kitchen worktops, splashbacks and


upstands for the home. Ryan Smith, Head of Residential - UK and ROI at Formica Group said,
