Innotech completes major investment in warehouse operations
T
o improve racking capacity and overall operational efficiency, Innotech Digital has invested significantly in its warehouse operations at its HQ in Leicester.
The investment prepares the company for future growth, peak demand and ensuring better stock control. The warehouse redesign includes a new 30x12m racking area dedicated to storing grand format 3.2m and 5m digital media reels. This has created space for an additional 1,000 reels to be accommodated and managed more efficiently and productively. The investment also includes the purchase of a specialist Linde R20 Reach
Truck with a fixed boom, designed for faster processing of grand format reels. Hitesh Bhundia, operations manager, said: “Innotech is the UK’s leading provider of grand format digital media for the sign and print market. Last year, we shipped 17,000 rolls of grand format media. With this investment in our warehouse, we expect this to grow to 21,000 by the end of the year. appointments.
Fastsigns Tunbridge Wells opened in March, followed in quick succession by the brand’s second Leicestershire- based franchise, Fastsigns Leicester North. These new centres bring the total number in the franchise network to 23.
