APA High quality and low environmental impact
APA has always been at the forefront in respecting the environment, and in 2004 obtained international certification for its environmental management system, using production processes that save resources and minimise the impact on the planet.
Aware that company growth must correspond to a decrease in environmental impact, APA has begun the energy conversion of its production facilities and equipment by installing a photovoltaic system of over 600kWp, which reduces 300 tons of CO2 each year, equal to the amount absorbed by 400 trees in 40 years.
In order to guarantee a safe product, APA certifies the conformity of its products in accordance with the European REACH and ROHS regulations, ensuring the total absence of heavy metals and managing PVC in a responsible manner, studying more and more avant-garde solutions, respecting the planet.
Today APA confirms its commitment with the new ZERO PVC OPTIONS line, designed to meet the growing demand for alternative materials to PVC.
A selection of adhesive films for digital printing, lamination and interior design, made from synthetic polymers or paper and natural fibre fabrics.
ZERO PVC OPTIONS is a new line from APA
A line destined to grow and evolve, with innovative substrates for graphics, interior design and wrapping.

It is no secret that demand for sustainable print has rocketed in recent years. Print companies face increasing pressure to provide more planet friendly work. This can be easier said than done in certain lines of print. For example, with work that traditionally relies on PVC materials, it can be tricky to source a replacement that is PVC-free and delivers the same quality results.
Drytac has developed a range of solutions that match this criterion. Take Polar Blockout UV as an example; this opaque printable block out film is PVC-free and an ideal solution for two-way window graphics. It even won a 2023 Pinnacle Product Award in the Non-PVC Media category. Within the same remit is ViziPrint Impress Clear, a PVC-free, 100% recyclable optically clear solution for self-adhesive applications on glass and other smooth, flat surfaces. This material can be printed using latex, UV and eco-solvent.
Another window graphics solution is ReTac Clear PET, a PVC-free material that can also be used for walls and counter-top graphics in environments including retail and hospitality. The product, also a 2023 Pinnacle Product Award winner, is compatible with latex and UV printers.
Leading on from this, Drytac offers Polar PET 170, a PVC-free scuff- and tear-resistant solution for short-term indoor applications such as floor and wall graphics. The film features a textured, matte finish, ideal for retail promotions, POS advertising and decals.
Drytac also has a PVC-free wallcovering offering in Paper Fleece Smooth, a non-woven media that can be used to create vibrant custom graphics for homes, retail stores, hotels, and offices. Finally, for those seeking an environmentally friendly protection solution, Drytac has Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti. This PVC-free clear PET laminating film boasts robust anti-stick and anti-graffiti features, ensuring a clean surface that wipes clean of virtually any spray paint and can be scraped off without adverse effects.
