Versatile and innovative CMYUK
The EFI VUTEk M3h is one of the latest additions to the world-class EFI technology production portfolio, and a landmark for technology progression. It is available now for live demos at CMYUK’s showroom in Shrewsbury. Aimed at businesses operating between mid-volume and high-end industrial output, this 3.2m hybrid wide printer offers true versatility and can easily handle multiple super-wide application opportunities. Due to the latest genuine EFI inks, print operators will
experience a significant improvement in the printer’s uptime. This means fewer cleans and purges and less wastage in both time and ink. The Kyocera print heads, with a resolution of up to 2400dpi in
seven and 14pL, deliver high-quality print at increased speeds. This printer can output up to five layers and offers CMYK+W and CMYK+W+C ink sets. The M3h outputs onto substrates up to 5.08cm thick and offers single or two-up printing onto rolls or boards. A fenceless muzzle option with pioneering laser detection enables enhanced continuous board feeding that delivers unrivalled and unique productivity. For all functionality within the printer, EFI has significantly raised the bar for the operative’s production experience.
Full-width lighting, as well as internal carriage cabinet lighting, is now available. Enhanced surrounding access ensures clean and easy maintenance of service areas. Operator touch screens are available front and rear, while reduced-depth tables that take up less floor space still accommodate large sheets with ease, making feeding much more manageable. Media handling innovation is transformative, with in-feed and
