hina Print Supplies has rolled out the ThunderJet UV printer to the UK market, in tandem with the release
of its SinoColor UV flatbed printer. Having established itself as a distributor in 2024, it has increased its hardware portfolio with this roll-to-roll printer being the next in line to land.
Designed for multi-layer printing on various substrates, it is equipped with four Epson i3200 printheads, which deliver 720x1200 dpi prints at speeds of up to 58.5m sq/hr.
The unique water-cooled print plate dissipates LED heat and keeps media flat, enabling printing on a wide range of materials without wrinkling. The Thunderjet AQ1800 UV features full white ink recirculation to prevent damaging sedimentation during downtime. This protects print heads and
maintains consistent performance. Scott Clutton, one of the directors at CPS, said: “For its price, the sheer print quality at the speed of this machine is as good as anything in the market. “It perfectly complements our existing range of SinoColor UV printers, reinforcing our commitment to delivering the best solutions in every printing category.”
CPS has also recently released the SinoColor UV flatbed printer to further extend its hardware portfolio.
