Discount Displays selects Zünd for major production upgrade

xhibition stand supplier Discount Displays has enhanced its production capabilities with the installation of a new Zünd G3 L-3200 Digital Cutter. This investment highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering the highest-quality marketing display solutions.
General manager, Giles Fletcher, said:
“Our previous Zünd PN Cutter has served us impeccably for 17 years without a single issue. “Beyond that, Zünd’s well-established support infrastructure in the UK gave us confidence in making this investment. It aligns perfectly with our philosophy of avoiding shortcuts – buying cheap often means buying twice, and Zünd eliminates that risk with their build quality.” The Zünd G3 stood out for its advanced
features, modular tooling system, and proven reliability. Its advanced integrated camera technology reduces setup
times, enhances precision, and ensures consistent quality throughout the production process. The addition of a 1kW router tool allows Discount Displays to produce custom Foamex and Perspex lettering or logos in-house, reducing reliance on external suppliers and improving turnaround times. Furthermore, the G3’s ability to handle materials up to 110mm thick opens new opportunities to work with diverse materials, enabling the company to stay at the forefront of innovation. The G3 is equipped with new creasing tools designed to produce eco-friendly cardboard displays for exhibitions and point-of-sale setups, supporting the increasing demand for environmentally responsible solutions.
