Indian restaurant receives signage upgrade from Mixit

A

Whitley Bay Indian restaurant has seen its signage transformed thanks to Mixit

Signs and Visual.

Shampan wanted something bold, vibrant, and welcoming to match its rich flavours and hospitality. The answer was a mix of LED modules, Neon solutions, and flexible strips from Firstlite LED to create something that would really pop and catch people’s eye from far away. Jason Nattrass, director of Mixit

Signs and Visual, said: “Whether it’s a shopfront, restaurant, or vehicle wrap, we know that signage is the first impression customers get. That’s why we put in the work to get it right – from design to installation. We use quality materials and lighting, like Firstlite LEDs, to ensure the sign looks great and lasts. No fluff, just practical, well-made signs that do their job day and night.”

Thanks to the combination of Firstlite LEDs and Mixit’s expertise, this Indian

EcoVista leads West London turnkey LED display installation

The Livat Centre in Hammersmith A L

thriving urban shopping destination in Hammersmith recently received a full turnkey LED display from EcoVista.

The Livat Centre’s large-format screen, prominently positioned on the building’s

main façade, provides a high-impact canvas for advertisers in one of London’s busiest areas. With the previous display reaching the end of its operational life, the owner of the building required a trusted partner to manage a full upgrade. Working alongside media owner Open Media, LED manufacturer Absen and the Livat operations team, EcoVista co-ordinated every stage of the project. The new display – a high-performance Absen A1021 screen from the A-Series range – features a 10mm pixel pitch and

10,000-nit brightness, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals even in direct sunlight. Measuring approximately 9x3m, the screen was retrofitted into the existing aperture. Sean Morrough, managing partner at EcoVista, said: “We’re proud to have delivered another successful large-format LED installation in central London. From procurement and planning to installation and servicing, we handled every aspect – ensuring seamless integration, minimal disruption and a great result for our partners.”

EDEL Messereklame leads sports event branding into the future with Kavalan Sunlight Weldable

ast year, EDEL Messereklame undertook a large event branding project for the City of Frankfurt to coincide with Germany hosting a major European football tournament. The project would entail production and assembly of a variety of banners, signs and other communication media, of which the client wanted a product that was as sustainable as possible. EDEL turned to print media

manufacturer and supplier com2C, which helped to find the solution needed, in the form of the Kavalan range of PVC-free banner materials.

The project was printed on Kavalan Sunlight Weldable using both a Durst Rho 312R 3.2m roll-to-roll UV inkjet printer and a Durst P5 350 3.5m hybrid roll-to- roll/ flatbed UV inkjet printer, before being

cut on a Kongsberg C64 super-wide digital cutting table, and then welded with a Leister welding machine. Running over the course of four weeks and entailing production of more than 7,000m2 of PVC-free banners, signage and other large-format branding materials, the project was well received, both by the client and by the wider Frankfurt am Main region.

Rob Karpenko, European sales director, Kavalan, said: “EDEL have shown that it truly is possible to produce vibrant and impactful visual communications on a huge scale while simultaneously minimising their environmental impact. “We believe it sets a benchmark for the industry and look forward to seeing even more sports events going PVC-free with Kavalan in 2025 and beyond.”
