FESPA Preview The place for visionaries

The FESPA Global Print Expo is just around the corner and with several new additions, we delve into what to keep your eye out for this year.

Q. You’re launching two new events this year, Corrugated and Textile. How do these fit into the whole FESPA event? A. We’ve seen businesses move across different verticals, particularly into textile and apparel, and into corrugated packaging and display. In light of this, we saw an opportunity to support those already operating in these segments and those looking to enter them. That’s why we’re launching these two new correlated events. Corrugated will be a dedicated platform for corrugated

It’s that time of year again, when the buzz and excitement of the FESPA Global Print Expo takes the industry by storm. With new co-locations – Corrugated and Textile – and the

introduction of WrapFest joining FESPA, the show couldn’t be more packed with the best and brightest of the industry. To learn what to look out for at this year’s show, Michael

Ryan, head of FESPA Global Print Expo leads us through what to keep an eye out for.

Q. What can visitors expect from FESPA Global Print Expo 2026? A. FESPA 2026 will be a directional meeting point for speciality printers and sign makers. It’s where businesses come to network with industry experts, discover practical opportunities for growth and compare ideas with peers. Across wide-format, digital, screen and textile printing, signage, personalisation, packaging and display, visitors will see the latest innovations and the thinking behind them. We already have a strong line-up of technology, consumables and media providers from the UK, including 3M, Agfa, Brother, Caldera, Durst, EFI, Epson, Hexis, HP, Kongsberg, Kornit, Mimaki, Mutoh, Roland, and SwissQprint.

Q. European Sign Expo and Personalisation Experience return alongside the main show. What will they add? A. European Sign Expo is dedicated to signage and visual communications, and it will cover everything from channel lettering and dimensional signage, to engraving, etching, LED and sign systems. It’s also a great place to network with signage specialists. Meanwhile, Personalisation Experience focuses on the commercial value of customisation, how it can create a stronger customer experience and drive growth. Visitors can talk to specialists, brands and suppliers. We

have a healthy mix of international and UK-based exhibitors, including Very Displays in European Sign Expo, alongside UK exhibitors across the wider event, such as: Admiral Tapes, AXYZ Automation Group UK, Digital Specs, Innova Art, Kernow Coatings, Morgana Systems, Nazdar and Sun Chemical.

packaging and point-of-sale display applications. It will include a 1,500m/sq exhibition space showcasing materials, machinery, workflow software and technologies, as well as a dedicated conference programme. Textile will appeal to businesses that work with printed

textiles across fashion, apparel and interior décor. Visitors will also have access to the ‘Personalisation and Textile’ conference programme, which will highlight how businesses can capitalise on opportunities, maximise productivity and reduce waste across their production lines.

Q. What does the strapline ‘The Place for Experts’ mean? A. We want to create an environment where knowledge-sharing and problem-solving are at the centre of the events and move beyond just “showcasing products.” Every hall is designed to help experts find solutions, ask the right questions and make more confident investment decisions.

Q. What trends do you expect to surface? A. Personalisation, sustainability and automation remain at the top of the agenda. Demand for tailored experiences is rising, sustainability is now a baseline expectation, and automation is increasingly used for speed, reliability and minimising errors.

Q. Any highlights visitors shouldn’t miss? A. At WrapFest (taking part alongside FESPA Global Print Expo and its co-located events), visitors will get to experience the
