Sign & Digital UK Review Sign & Digital UK co-located with Printwear & Promotion LIVE! for the third time

And that’s a wrap!

From wrap battles, meaningful conversations to a talking robot, Sign & Digital UK 2026 had it all. The show wrapped up on Tuesday February 24, after three successful days at the NEC in Birmingham.

T

he third co-location for Printwear & Promotion LIVE! and Sign & Digital UK saw an attendance of 6,500 visitors who took time out of their busy day to explore all that the shows and industries had to offer. Event director, Tony Gardner said:

“Although exhibitors specific to the sign industry were lower this year, the overall feedback from exhibitors has been very positive, with the co-location with Printwear & Promotion again working well. “The open plan nature of the two

shows across the three halls was a real benefit for both exhibitors and visitors! Initial reports on enquiries received from the equipment suppliers exhibiting has been encouraging and the introduction of The Sign Makers’ Village, with the support of the BSGA, was also a good addition to the show this year.” More than 40 exhibitors took to the

show floor to showcase their very latest equipment, products and services for the visual communications sector. Visitors were able to view newly launched products, such as new to the HEXIS Wrap Battle, HEXIS’ HXONE wrap film, and Metamark’s MDC XR printable wrap film.

| 32 | March/April 2026 Exhibitor, and guest speaker at The

Knowledge Centre, The Online Print Coach, Colin Sinclair McDermott, mentioned that the show was a great way to network and create new partnerships. He said: “It was a pleasure to be part of Sign & Digital UK this year. It was a good opportunity to network with existing clients and forge new contacts, both on the exhibition floor and at the various events held alongside the show. “The show also provided a vital

platform to increase our profile through the Knowledge Centre and the BSGA Sign Makers’ Village. Taking part in panel discussions and presentations allowed us to tackle the real commercial issues facing sign business owners and feedback from the attendees was very positive.” Part of the Metamark stand was its

newly formed partner Siser, who attended the show for the first time this year. Rudy Marrer, export sales manager for Siser – part of Metamark’s stand – said: “It’s been amazing, especially, as it’s the first time that we [Metamark] do a show together. “The first day, the numbers absolutely blew us out of the water, the reception

from the crowd was amazing. So, congratulations to you guys for putting on a great show.” Sign & Digital UK visitors and exhibitors can look forward to a new arrangement for 2027. With a subsidiary of Datateam Business Media – Koru Media’s – recent acquisition of The Print Show and The Sign Show steps have been taken to make sure that the show in 2027 is something that the industry can be proud and excited to be part of both as exhibitors and visitors. Mr Gardner added: “Looking ahead to the future, following the group’s recent acquisition of The Print Show and The Sign Show, we need to assess how we take Sign & Digital UK forward and the potential opportunity we now have, in view of the acquisition. We are probably three months away from making a decision with regard to 2027.”
