Peerless Plastics & Coatings reveals benefits of Fujifilm printer
P
eerless Plastics & Coatings has revealed that its investment in a Fujifilm Acuity Prime 30 flatbed
UV printer, from Soyang Hardware, has significantly improved production and allowed it to take on additional work. The company took stock of its new
Fujifilm printer in September 2025, and has since been reaping the benefits of running a second Fujifilm device, alongside the company’s Fujifilm Acuity Prime L.
Liam Cameron, senior head of print at
Peerless, said: “When we decided we needed another printer, we wanted to add the exact same inks, so it can run
side by side with our current Prime L. With this, we identified the Prime 30 as the best option for us with the exact same inks.” The Fujifilm Acuity Prime 30 offers a top running speed of 150m sq/hr, a print resolution of up to 1200dpi, a 2,500x1,270mm bed size and the ability to print with colour, white, clear and primer.
Mr Cameron added: “It has allowed us to free up capacity so that we can put more work into the department and win tighter projects and reduce our lead times for customers. “With the ink performing very similar

KGK Genix reports output improvements with new HP Stitch S1000
K
GK Genix has highlighted the impact of its new HP Stitch S1000 printer, revealing how the device has helped the company to access the fabric printing sector. With guidance from Papergraphics, an approved HP partner, the HP Stitch S1000 was determined as the ideal solution. The device offers a maximum printing width of 3.2m, runs at speeds of up to 220m sq/hr and runs 10L ink cartridges, with operational features such as a drop-and-dry printzone dryer, media loading table, spreader roller and built-in spectrophotometer.

Ryan Player, fabric manager at KGK Genix, said: “We’re effectively running at twice the speed of our previous print mode, but without compromising on quality. Because it runs so consistently, we can print rolls out of hours if we need to. That gives us far more flexibility in how we schedule work.” Mr Player added the combination of the HP Stitch S1000 technology and Tissaro Fabrics from Papergraphics means the company has been able to take on several high-profile projects, including from Nike.
P Arts has announced it has installed a JWEI liquid routing system from CMYUK, to further strengthen its production capabilities, alongside two Kongsberg cutting tables already operating on site. This latest investment enhances the company’s digital cutting facility, while opening up new possibilities for advanced finishing techniques, including V-notch cutting, engraving, and polishing. The addition of the JWEI router enables
CP Arts to broaden the range of materials and finishes available to clients. The system will support the company’s growing focus on the design and production of semi-permanent retail displays.
By allocating semi-permanent display production to the new liquid routing facility, CP Arts’ existing Kongsberg cutters can remain focused on high-volume temporary display work. This optimised workflow will improve throughput across the department while maintaining the precision and consistency required for retail point-of-sale projects.
