China Print Supplies to help bring dream weddings
C
hina Print Supplies has become the company of choice to help bring print production in
house for bespoke wedding provider Evallance. The Leeds-based company originally outsourced its printing needs having custom dancefloors and DJ booths produced externally. However, with the Evallance’s growing success it was noticing limitations and began scouring the market for the right printer for its needs. After some deliberation it was decided the SinoColor FB-2513 was suitable for its needs of printing directly onto a wide array of substrates including wood, acrylic, polyester, glass, and metal.
The printer offers a 2.5×1.3m print bed and resolutions of up to 2,400dpi, as well as Variable Dot printing for fine detail. It has the capacity for up to 11 colours, textured emboss effects, and multi-layer printing capabilities. Nikhil Kumar, Evallance’s graphic designer and the printer’s main operator, said: “Because of the success and growth of the company, we were becoming more aware of the limitations of relying on external suppliers. “We have promises we need to keep, and we can only reliably do that by bringing print production into our own hands. “I don’t think any of us expected the level of quality that the SinoColor can

output. When reviewing other printers, it blew everything else away. “We have reaped the benefits of our investment very quickly. This is a truly incredible machine that is rapidly transforming the service we offer to our clients.” Purchasing the SinoColor FB-2513s has enabled the company to not only improve the quality, control, and versatility of its event printing, but also offers the opportunity for further growth through outsourcing its services.

n order to strengthen and expand its offering across Europe, Ultima Displays has invested in an HP Latex R2000, an HP Latex FS50W, and an HP Stitch S1000. Ultima Displays’ business in the UK took delivery of a new HP Latex R2000 at its facility in Corby in May 2025. Capable of running boards up to 2.5m wide and at speeds of up to 86m sq/hr in indoor mode, the machine runs 5L colour cartridges and 3L white cartridges opening up all manner of work across a host of markets. Dave Bonehill, director of operations at Ultima Displays, said: “This was a strategic choice; it aligns with our existing setup as most of our current machines

are HP, enabling streamlined reporting, consistency in quality, and a unified user interface across devices. “The printer allows us to more than double our rigid board printing capacity, dramatically reducing lead times, which is a critical factor in the fast-paced retail and event sectors.”
The new machine is running alongside a number of other HP printers at Ultima’s facility. These include an HP Latex 800W, an HP Stitch S1000 and HP Stitch S500. HP Latex is also playing a major role across the wider business. It has also installed an HP Latex FS60W at its facility in Gdansk, Poland, while its Italian business has taken on an HP Stitch S1000.

n recent months, Bluetree Group has invested heavily in its wide-format production portfolio.
The online print group has added a second JWEI JCUT-3230 digital cutting table to its line-up and invested in a PLASTGrommet Hybrid TexWiz integrated banner finishing solution. The JWEI JCUT 3230 digital cutting
table is the largest in the JCUT family with a 3.2x3m bed. It was the 3.2m width capacity that appealed to Bluetree as it matches the width of its EFI printers, ensuring finishing is no longer the bottleneck in the production workflow. And with the addition of the Hybrid
TexWiz, Bluetree Group will now be able to automate welding, eyeleting, cutting, and sewing all in-line, streamlining the finishing process and freeing up team members to focus on other tasks.
