New rotary printer brought to UK by China Print Supplies

C

hina Print Supplies (CPS) has introduced the SinoColor URP-3015 Series

UV Rotary Printer to the UK. It produces full-colour, 360° graphics on materials including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, and wood. The machine is designed for businesses looking to customise cylindrical products, such as cups, tumblers, bottles, and candle holders, with high-quality, full-colour graphics. Scott Clutton, managing director of CPS, said: “There’s a growing demand in the UK for short-run, high-value customisation of cylindrical products, but existing options can be complex or prohibitively expensive.

“This machine hits the perfect sweet spot. It delivers exceptional print quality that rivals far more expensive systems,

at a price point that opens up new revenue streams for businesses.” The printer offers a full CMYK colour set with optional white, varnish, and primer, allowing for premium textured and layered effects. The URP-3015 is designed for volume printing, capable of completing and instantly curing a single item in one to three minutes. An angle-adjustable tooling fixture accommodates both straight-walled and tapered cylinders with heights from 8 cm to 30cm and diameters from 5cm to 15cm. To ensure consistent and safe operation, the machine is equipped with robust systems, including a stirring system to prevent white ink separation. Operator safety and print head protection are managed by an intelligent Triple Protection system, which features an anti-collision sensor and detectors for

ujifilm has undergone a major product rebrand with its HS Series now being labelled as Acuity Aristo, marking the platform’s evolution from a development-phase project to a commercially available high-speed inkjet solution.

The rebrand brings the platform within Fujifilm’s respected Acuity portfolio, alongside the Acuity Prime and Acuity Ultra ranges, signalling the machine’s readiness for broader global deployment. The Acuity Aristo series is the result of a multi-year collaboration between Fujifilm and Barberán, a Spanish manufacturer with over 90 years of engineering expertise in high-performance, single-pass

Oliver Mills, Barberán project marketing manager, at Fujifilm wide-format inkjet systems, said: “Rebranding the platform as Acuity Aristo marks a significant milestone, signalling its transition from R&D to a fully validated commercial product. “By combining Barberán’s mechanical engineering expertise with Fujifilm’s inkjet technology and ink development, we’ve created a powerful, production- ready platform for the ultra-high-volume sign and display market.”

To support the rebrand, Fujifilm hosted an invitation-only Open House event on July 8 and 9 at the Barcelona headquarters.
