Industry News NEWS IN BRIEF

The print industry has continued to experience strong and steady growth despite confidence being negative within the industry, according to the BPIF. The latest numbers from the organisation’s Printing Outlook survey have been released explaining that output and order levels have seen growth as forecasted in the year’s second quarter.  Very Displays has added Mesh Fence Banners and the A1 Black Spring Poster Frame to its product portfolio.  Antalis is launching F-Jet Natural Fibers from Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives, an innovative solution that redefines short-term indoor advertising by offering a more sustainable alternative to traditional monomeric films.  Digidelta has announced the worldwide availability of Decal Dot Matrix, a bubble-free 100-micron self-adhesive monomeric vinyl for use in short-term indoor applications. With the launch of its films, print PP MR L-UV and print PP MR L-UV air-matrix, Neschen has expanded its range of PVC-free materials for the large-format printing market. These products are specifically designed to meet the growing demand for alternatives to monomeric PVC films – particularly for use in event graphics, trade shows, and indoor signage.  Drytac has launched Polar HiGrab Air, a new white matte monomeric high-grab self-adhesive vinyl, in the UK. Polar HiGrab Air has been designed for tough-to-adhere-to surfaces and is ideal for short-term applications. VB Media now offers customers platform-level integration with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage accounting software, as well as the shopVOX business management solution. Sign Trade Supplies has introduced a new high-performance adhesive for the signage industry. STYKRA 360 is a crystal-clear, structural MMA glue that delivers strong, reliable bonds across the full range of materials used in modern sign making, without the heat that can cause ripples or warping on sign faces. PrintMax Econ by Spartech is a new high impact polystyrene printing media engineered to deliver value and performance across a broad range of printing applications.
