PHAM NEWS | APRIL 2024 34 Radiators & Towel Warmers Options to suit almost any application

Featuring a sleek, compact design, the new A-Line electric panel heater from Pitacs Heating offers wi-fi enabled smart control and is available as wall-mounted or floor-standing models. The intuitive control panel has a configurable range of 5 to 35°C ambient temperature, a weekly timing function and an overheat protection function. The smart connectivity means that it can be controlled via a remote control or mobile phone via the Tuya app. There are five sizes to choose

from, ranging from 750 to 2400W heat output and a choice of White RAL 9016 (pictured right) or Anthracite RAL 7016 finish. All models are 400mm high and range from 540 to 860mm in length. The electric panel heaters are

fully certified to LOT20, are IP65 rated and come with a warranty of two years. The electric model is just

one of a wide range of heating options from the Pitacs Group, which offers different solutions and designs to meet the needs of almost any domestic or commercial heating project, from Aeon stainless steel designer

performance. Designs range from traditionally chunky to industrial chic, said to be ideal for both the workplace and a domestic setting and are available in two, three, four and six column options. The Compact 4 convector panel

radiator range from Ultraheat provides a compact, cost-effective and durable heating solution and comes in more than 40 size options with a wide range of specifications, all available from a well-stocked warehouse for next-day delivery. Oswest is Ultraheat’s wi-fi

radiators, Ultraheat column radiators, to Zenith towel rails.

Striking designs Aeon’s collection of designer stainless steel towel rails continues to expand, providing a striking range of designs, colours and sizes that have all been created, crafted and hand-finished by the company. Low temperature solutions, smart controls and more

An extensive range of hydronic radiators are available from Myson to suit every need, including panel, vertical, designer, column, and towel radiators. There are even solutions when flow temperatures are reduced to below 45°C. The Ulow E2, for example, is

an ultra-low temperature panel radiator that automatically switches on integrated fans when needed to support the natural convection of the radiator, producing up to 60% more heat output than traditional radiators. The increased performance of the Ulow E2 allows for both lower temperature settings and a reduced energy consumption. Where there is a requirement

for rapid response or intermittent heating, direct electric radiators may represent the most

appropriate option, and Myson offers a wide range of electric models to suit individual tastes, including panel, plan, column and decorative models.

Smart control Recently updated controls on the Rio Plus, pictured below, turns them into smart electric radiators that can be controlled via wi-fi. They can be regulated via a user- friendly app on a smartphone or tablet and can even be voice controlled when paired with a home automation system, such as Google Home or Amazon Alexa. Furthermore, the app allows for a digital visualisation of the radiator’s energy consumption so that it’s easy to monitor and adjust the energy usage whenever and wherever needed.

It is available in nine size options, with variations in twists (180° half twist, a 360° full twist and 720° for two full twists) and is also available in gold, black, bronze, antique bronze, copper and rose gold finishes. Towel rail options from Aeon

include Zenith, featuring gleaming stainless-steel bars set in patterns

of three, with eight size options, brushed matt or polished finishes and multiple colour choices, while Zig-zag towel rails add a touch of geometric fun to any bathroom, with a selection of four different letter shapes: E, K, T or M.

Understated elegance Column radiators from Ultraheat are described as a combination of understated elegance and efficient, reliable heat

On the right lines

For bathroom heating, Myson

is able to provide hydronic, electric and dual fuel towel radiators, all now available in a wide variety of sizes, configurations and colours. The company says that UK homeowners have traditionally preferred a chrome finish, but many consumers are now beginning to move towards painted radiators, mainly because the physical nature of the chrome product means that heat output is reduced by 30% compared to a painted radiator. The new Topaz hydronic

bathroom radiator (pictured above) is a double multi-rail bathroom radiator available in a variety of attractive colours, including popular options such as silver, anthracite and matt black. Thanks to its generous tubular water channels Topaz is said to deliver excellent heat output, making it suitable for use on low temperature heating systems. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/424/48

Described as technology and functionality coming together, Equilibrio by CEA Design is a towel warmer and electric bathrobe warmer made of stainless steel. It is a modular system composed of one or more elements available in two lengths (580mm and 1060mm), which can be installed both vertically and horizontally, each available with or without an ignition switch. Equilibrio is available in a standard satin and polished finish and in all CEA’s special finishes. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/424/49

Space-saving flexibility

Responding to demand for more space saving solutions, the Henrad range now includes the Compact Vertical. Ideal for installation in hallways and landings, the new radiator can provide an alternative to larger horizontal radiators that may end up behind a sofa or a bed. “Vertical radiators are becoming

almost the norm now with many new build properties having a mix of horizontal and vertical radiators,” says head of marketing at the Stelrad Radiator Group, Chris Harvey. “They have become a vital part of the heating system in many cases and we’re seeing them specified far more often than even we expected when we first began their manufacture.” ◼ phamnews.co.uk/424/50

enabled smart heating element that transforms a simple towel rail into an intelligent heating solution that can be controlled via a smartphone. For ease of use, Oswest features LED touchscreen buttons which can be used to turn the towel rail on and off, select different heat modes, and set the preferred temperature. The heating element offers a

number of energy saving features, including automatic anti-freeze, an open window function that reduces energy consumption, plus thermostatic and timing dryer modes. Suitable for bathroom fittings, it has an IPX4 protection rating and can be installed in zones two and three. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/424/47
