Get to grips with the benefi ts on YouTube
The Aerona Smart Controller is a weather- compensated controller that enhances the effi ciency of the Grant heat pump range. It features a 4.5" touch screen display, self-learning functionality, and remote monitoring. The controller can
manage up to three heating zones and domestic hot water. Its user-friendly interface allows easy access to core heat pump and system settings and it also provides installer assistant features for setting up and commissioning an Aerona3
heat pump. The Aerona Smart Controller’s advanced monitoring
software independently adjusts the heating curves for each zone, optimising the heat pump’s fl ow temperature based on external conditions. It learns and adapts to meet the specifi c requirements of the property. Equipped with a wi-fi hub and a web browser platform,
the controller allows remote access to performance data, temperature settings, and error codes. It also supports remote system support and provides interactive performance data for users and engineers. To help installers get to grips with the smart controller,
Grant has created a series of YouTube videos which include step-by-step demonstrations on how to set the core settings. Use the link below to view the videos. ◼

Storage heaters deliver on intelligence
The Ecojoule storage heater range from Haverland has been designed as an intelligent solution to provide optimal warmth and effi ciency. The company says it redefi nes smart storage heaters for modern homes. The heater incorporates a TFT display
for user-friendly monitoring and control, and its RF wireless electronics enable seamless integration into the home, while
a charge indicator adds to its convenience. There are also programmed operating modes, including customisable options and daily/weekly programming.
Intelligent sensors within the Ecojoule
detect open windows, optimising heating effi ciency and energy usage. The appliance also includes an energy rationalisation function to promote sustainable energy consumption. The Boost function allows users to quickly increase the heating power by activating its auxiliary heating element for immediate comfort. Diff erent models within the Ecojoule
Range are available, each with varying heat storage capacities. Additional features include temperature settings for diff erent climates and remote control options via GPS and wi-fi support. ◼

Whole house control can lead to signifi cant savings
The Unisenza Plus by Myson is a wireless heating control system that lets users connect and control various heating and cooling devices easily. It off ers a wide range of possibilities and compatibility with other products, along with the added benefi t of a fully wireless network. With just a few components, like the Unisenza Plus Gateway, electronic
thermostatic head, wireless thermostat, and receiver, users can confi gure the entire building with a single control range. The system can connect up to 100 end devices, allowing for a customised indoor climate solution that adjusts to occupants’ needs. Julian Clegg, product manager at Myson UK, says: “Our research shows
that, compared to a standard control system with on/off control of a single zone, this can lead to energy savings of up to 24%, a signifi cant number which speaks of the ability of Unisenza and Unisenza Plus to create a future-proof heating system that’s able to meet increasingly rigid energy standards.” ◼
