A sneak peek at Logitech’s new productivity tools

Logitech has introduced fresh additions to its professional lineup, including new headsets, a precision mouse, and a solar-powered keyboard, all designed to boost focus, efficiency, and sustainability in modern workplaces

Zone Wireless 2 ES and Zone Wired 2

Logitech has released two new headsets, Zone Wireless 2 ES and Zone Wired 2, aimed at addressing workplace distractions in open office environments. The devices incorporate adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation that adjusts in real time to changing surroundings, alongside dual AI-powered microphones designed to filter out background sounds such as conversations, typing, and foot traffic. The company positions the headsets as tools to support concentration while maintaining the collaborative benefits of shared office spaces. Prakash Arunkundrum, president of Logitech for Business, said the products were developed to help businesses balance productivity with interaction as more employees return to office settings. Research has highlighted the scale of workplace interruptions, with studies estimating productivity losses in the hundreds of billions of dollars annually.

Zone Wireless 2 ES is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, with features that simplify device management and reduce IT support demands. It offers up to 20 hours of talk time and 25 hours of listening time with noise cancellation active. The headset also integrates with Logitech Sync, enabling IT teams to push silent firmware updates without disrupting users. Zone Wired 2 provides a plug-and-play USB alternative with the same certifications and features, designed for environments where wireless connectivity may be less practical.

Both models draw on gaming headset design principles

to improve comfort during extended use, with adjustable straps, rotating earcups, and reversible microphone booms. Sustainability measures include replaceable components and the use of recycled plastics, metals, and cobalt in their construction.
