DCC shifts focus to Energy with potential sale of Healthcare and Tech businesses
DONAL MURPHY, chief executive of DCC plc – owner of and parent of Exertis, announced an update on the strategic direction of DCC as part of the DCC Interim Results update to the City.
DCC has unveiled a renewed focus on its Energy activities, concentrating solely on its compelling opportunities within this sector. As part of this strategic shift, the company will simplify its portfolio and has begun preparations for the sale of DCC Healthcare. Meanwhile, the Technology division will continue to deliver its growth and transformation agenda while exploring strategic options for the future.

This news comes two weeks after Exertis announced structural changes, shifting to being a more dedicated, components, IT solutions, mobile and print) and channels (consumer).
Exertis aims to leverage its expertise in high-growth customers’ businesses. The dedicated business and consumer divisions, with integrated sales and commercial the distributor’s operations, ensuring a more seamless experience for customers with faster support and enhanced collaboration. In Exertis’s business division, the focus is on the specialism mobile and print. In the consumer division, the distributor continues to lead the retail market, while making targeted improvements to further elevate its service.
