ARE TECH SUPPORT ISSUES HAMPERING HOME TECH ADOPTION?
New research on consumer attitudes to home tech reveals their hopes and fears about digital dependency and reliability, explains Gavin Miller, CEO of Asurion Europe.

xtensive data shows the growth of the connected home market in the UK and beyond. Around 80% of all age groups
now have some form of smart connected home device, with younger generations being the most likely to have three or more devices. But new research commissioned by Asurion Europe gives pause for thought about the inexorable digitalisation of the UK’s homes and home offices, and shows that UK consumers want reassurance about tech reliability before investing further in connected devices. points among UK citizens, but also the solutions and support they are seeking.
