WHY WE NEED TO MAKE DIGITAL PROTECTION PERSONAL

followed rigidly. But whether you are simply trying to support them in sticking to the plan or actively monitoring and managing their protection, from the customer’s perspective, there can seem to be an endless number of boxes that need to be repeatedly and relentlessly ticked. While all the checks and balances are there
for a reason, it can have the effect of making cybersecurity seem impersonal, inflexible, and over-regimented. Tis is why it’s important to make sure you are delivering a digital security service that is tailored and personalised to the needs of your customer. And the more complex
cybersecurity becomes, the more personal the service needs to be. It’s not easy though. Te threat landscape is
forever expanding and mutating, and end-user customers have vastly differing needs. Smaller businesses may just want an all-in-one solution that is effective and which they don’t have to worry about too much. But most scenarios will be more involved. Tere will be hybrid and home workers, multiple locations and industry-specific compliance requirements. Tere will always be budget pressure and (this is especially true for SMBs) a desire to spend just enough, but not too much, on cybersecurity. More experienced customers – especially those who have experienced a cyberattack – will have
