WHY SMBS SHOULD CONSIDER THIRD PARTY SERVICES

ybersecurity is a big hurdle for SMB resellers. Yes, it is a good opportunity, but providing any
kind of cybersecurity solution or service means making many tough decisions and comes with some big commitments and responsibilities. Get it wrong, and there could be serious implications for your customers and for your own business. First of all, you need to choose which
vendors to partner with in the different areas of cybersecurity. That won’t be easy. As well as endpoint protection, you may need to offer solutions for cloud security, identity protection, multi- factor authentication, incident response and recovery, and to help protect customers against ransomware and other kinds of threats.

customers (and the reseller itself) will be putting their digital security (and reputation) into the hands of these suppliers. Ideally, you will want to be committing to security vendor partners for the long-term and feel that they are equally committed to you as a reseller partner. And while Synaxon, for example, has its own preferred and recommended suppliers, it’s always going to be your decision whether or not to partner with a particular vendor.
