What is your company’s experience with AI and Chat GPT and how are you using this in your daily business? Corelight has been using variants of AI for a number of years now, both directly within our products themselves and with the associated tools our customers use when investigating cyber threats. In 2020, Corelight acquired PatternEx, a company that used AI to assist with automated threat hunting via the use of over 100 machine learning detections. In turn, this technology and the lessons learned went into our Investigator tool that was launched last year. Investigator provides customers with
an accelerated threat hunting experience through the use of extensive machine

learning across the data provided by their Corelight sensors and provides a GUI that maps alerts across the MITRE ATT&CK framework. We also fully expose our machine learning analysis so customers can see why the ML triggered the alert and scored it, specifically to that customer’s environment. Te team at Corelight is already
integrating Chat-GPT with our solutions and we expect to be making some more very exciting announcements over the next few months. We believe we have found some very effective methods that our tools can use Chat-GPT to help customers better understand what they are looking at and more importantly, understand the steps required to remediate.
