Consenna Consenna has appointed Charles Quinn as non- executive director. Quinn is a respected business leader and brings over 20 years senior executive leadership


experience at some of the world’s most successful technology brands, including Dell, HP and Microsoſt. In recent years, Quinn has advised a cross section of growth technology businesses and worked closely with the investment community. In his new role, Evans will lead the overall growth strategy for


Maverick in Europe, with a focus on deepening the distributor’s extensive specialist capabilities, reinforcing vendor relationships and empowering the Maverick team to deliver best-in-class smart signage and collaboration offerings to partners across Europe. With more than 30 years’ experience within the AV/IT industry,


Evans previously served in commercial director roles at integration businesses including market leaders Electrosonic and Kinly, and also held senior positions at Viju and Cisco. Evans said: “Since joining the company earlier this year, I


have learnt firsthand about the immense power, knowledge and experience of our team and the continued potential for growth in our business. In my new role, I am looking forward to enabling the whole Maverick team to realize the many opportunities in front of us in the smart signage and collaboration space.”


TD Synnex TD Synnex has announced that Andy Gass, chief digital officer, global, has decided to retire from the business, effective January, 2024. Te company has also announced that Matt Child, currently executive leader of its advanced solutions division in the UK and Ireland (UK&I), will become senior vice president, digital, Europe, and a member of the company’s European executive team on December 1, 2023. A recruitment process is underway to identify Child’s successor for the UK&I advanced solutions leadership position. During his 30-year tenure with TD Synnex, Gass has served in


a variety of strategic and operational leadership roles at country, regional and global level. Five years ago, Gass became executive leader for the company’s digital transformation and commercial excellence strategy in Europe, driving innovation and customer-centric business outcomes aimed at accelerating channel partner growth through data-led personalisation and enhanced digital platforms.

of the company’s UK mobile division before being appointed in 2018 to lead its UK endpoint solutions division. Since 2019, he has served as managing director of TD Synnex’s advanced solutions business in the UK.


Snowflake Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, has appointed James Petter as VP of EMEA Sales, effective as of July 3, 2023. Petter will be responsible for leading


the Snowflake EMEA team to drive business growth, land new customers, and ensure collaboration and innovation across Snowflake’s Data Cloud ecosystem. Petter brings with him over 25 years of experience in senior sales


positions across leading firms, driving new business and revenue growth, expanding business in EMEA and APAC, and attracting and retaining the best workforce. Most recently, Petter spent over eight years at Pure Storage, driving increased revenues across EMEA, Latin America and APAC. Prior to this, he spent 11 years at EMC, and a further four years at Cisco. Petter also served in the British Army for four years before joining the enterprise tech industry. “As a leader, I’ve always adopted the mantra of ‘serve to lead’, and

BROTHER Business technology solutions provider Brother UK has made further two senior promotions to support the firm’s strategic growth plans. Stuart Maclean and Mike Anderson have been appointed new roles,


both reporting directly to managing director Phil Jones. Maclean has been promoted to chief financial officer (CFO)


from his former role as head of finance and corporate planning. In the new position, Maclean will be responsible for overseeing the business’ financial activities including auditing, strategy and delivering profitability across the firm’s categories. He will also continue his role as head of European finance shared services, leading a team of 33 across 13 countries, including the UK. Anderson has been promoted to chief marketing officer aſter


eight years as head of marketing at Brother UK. He will have full responsibility for the business’ marketing operations, developing strategies to drive Brother UK’s growth and will oversee a team of 25. Mike’s new role follows the retirement of sales and marketing director Andy Forsyth, aſter 11 years with the business and a 40-year long career in business technology. Tese promotions closely follow Greig Millar’s appointment to chief


revenue officer and Terry Caulfield’s promotion to chief commercial officer and will sit alongside Louise Marshall (director of ESG & OD) and Keith Howe (director of supply chain & service).
