last few months has been a pleasure and an education – all with one thing in common, your passion for your business. Speaking with people who are passionate about their business or sector, quite apart from being a joy to experience, makes my job easier because that enthusiasm is infectious and you all have so much to say.

APIs are essential for businesses but can also be a double-edged sword – they can open organisations’ networks up to a world of risk if not secured properly as Andy Hornegold at Intruder explains, while Alan Hayward from SEH talks about optimising IT Infrastructures in 2023. Digital transformation has had virtual collaboration technology at its centre following the

data-driven insights for future-proofing, and Mahesh Ram of Zoom reveals how customer service agents can be empowered with the help of AI, while Matt Ellison of Corelight discusses whether businesses should be looking to incorporate AI into their organisations at all. David Morgan of SES- imagotag discusses the use of ‘Internet of Things’ technologies in retail,

while Ben Durrant of Genetec explains why IT teams and physical security need to work together. Brian Kane of Malwarebytes discusses why channel partners should be targeting education this

summer, and Royce Lye from BenQ looks at how classroom interactive displays will change the digital examination landscape. Jason Kent from Open Seas explores the significance of Vendor Privileged Access Management

and why it’s crucial for MSPs and channel partners to embrace it. Mark McLardie of Westcon-Comstor explains what steps the business is taking to be a part of a

sustainable supply chain. In our Big Interview we talk to Robin van Stroe of Canon about the importance of

entrepreneurial spirit in channel partnerships, while our Life in the Channel interview is with Thea Tanner of BT Wholesale who talks about channel partnerships, learning and evolution. I hope you find this issue informative and interesting.
