CE Trikes have been building premium recumbent trikes in Falmouth, Cornwall since 1998, growing from a partnership between two
engineers and recumbent cycle enthusiasts, Chris Parker and Neil Selwood. In the early days ICE, which stands for Inspired Cycle Engineering, only had a handful of employees and all trikes were made to order by hand, one at a time. The business now employs 30 people at its HQ in
Falmouth. 2023 marked a special year for the brand as it celebrated 25 years in the trade. Following this anniversary, BikeBiz caught up with Phil Zschiesche who works across design, sales and marketing at ICE Trikes.

Trikes are ideal in the treatment and rehabilitation for stroke survivors, riders with balance problems, Ataxia, people with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, multiple sclerosis, amputations, Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy and much more.
