Ahmed Khodja, Wattbike


Wattbike has announced the appointment of Ahmed Khodja as direct- to-consumer director. E-commerce and digital transformation


expert Khodja joins the Wattbike team in the newly-created role which will see him setting Wattbike’s global DTC vision by unlocking the potential of the brand. Khodja will be responsible for the transformation of both on and offline consumer experience, through leveraging the value of Wattbike’s omnichannel foundations and heritage in elite sport. He joins the Wattbike team with a


proven track record in e-commerce strategy, following a decade working with global manufacturer and online retailer of licensed sportswear, Fanatics. Following the announcement, Khodja said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining the passionate team at Wattbike, and to be taking on such a pivotal role in the brand’s plans for international growth. “I’m very much looking forward to helping shape the brand’s digital future, using my extensive experience of e-commerce and connections within the industry.”


Sarah Darling, Extra UK


Extra UK has announced that Sarah Darling will join them as head of marketing. Darling joins from ZyroFisher, taking with her a wealth of experience and passion for the industry. In her new role she will be responsible


for overseeing all marketing and promotional activity for Extra and its portfolio of brand partners, working closely across the whole business as an integral part of Extra’s senior leadership team, to drive continued growth and market share. With a career spanning more than 14 years in the cycling industry, Darling has established herself as a marketing professional known for her ability to develop marketing strategies, execute successful campaigns and build strong relationships with industry and media partners. Darling said: “I am excited to get started in this new challenge, Extra UK have a strong portfolio of brands and I’m eager to use my experience to help further develop these within the UK and Ireland and contribute to the company’s further growth.” 


Phil Dowling, VeloBrands


VeloBrands has announced the addition of Phil Dowling to its team as the area sales manager for South West England and Wales. Dowling takes with him a wealth of


experience and a passion for the outdoors and cycling, making him a valuable asset to the VeloBrands family. Having previously held key positions


at Berghaus, Sealskinz, Curry & Warner Group (Black Mountain Bikes), and most recently Litelok, he has established strong relationships within the industry. As area sales manager, Dowling will be responsible for enhancing VeloBrands’ presence in the region by cultivating strong partnerships, introducing new product offerings, and delivering customer service to retailers and cyclists alike. Following the announcement, Dowling said: “I look forward to collaborating with the talented team at VeloBrands and using my experience to best service and support the growth of the vibrant South West and Wales cycling community.” 
