EGX This year’s EGX is set to be an interesting event, especially with the recent changes at ReedPop and Gamer Network. For the first time, EGX will co-locate with MCM London Comic Con, creating a larger event that brings together gaming and pop culture fans under one roof. This collaboration aims to provide a more enriching experience, featuring a wide array of activities, celebrity guests, and opportunities for attendees to engage with both gaming and broader pop culture.

GAMESCOM ASIA gamescom asia offers a unique opportunity for industry professionals only familiar with the European event to explore the vibrant gaming landscape of the Asia-Pacific region. Taking place in Singapore, it features a diverse blend of local and international exhibitors, giving attendees access to a wealth of cultural insights and networking opportunities that differ from Europe. Naturally the event includes a B2B conference, where industry experts and thought leaders from major companies like CD Projekt Red and SEGA will share their knowledge. This might prove particularly beneficial for professionals looking to expand their reach into the fast- growing Asian markets, as it allows for direct engagement with potential partners, publishers, and developers.

DRAGON AGE: THE
VEILGUARD Baldur’s Gate 3 has been out for more than a year, which means that despite its expansive campaign and replayability, not to mention recently added mod support, RPG fans are probably ready to move on to something new. EA will hope that the timely arrival of the fourth Dragon Age game - ten years after the third - will have them all merrily hop aboard. It helps that the press are talking of Bioware being back to its best after the twin disappointments of Anthem and Andromeda, and with a new Mass Effect to follow it, BioWare will need to be to avoid spending another decade in the shadow of its former self.
