THE RUBBER KEYED WONDER PREMIERE October 3, BFI IMAX London

www.graciousfilms.com

If you watched the now classic Bedrooms to Billions documentary and thought ‘it’s great and everything but it just needs more Spectrum’, then the follow-up, The Rubber Keyed Wonder, should be right up your RAM pack. It’s two hours of reminiscing about Clive Sinclair and his machines, games like Ant Attack and Saboteur, magazines like Crash, and all from the people that were laying the foundations for the UK games industry, some of whom didn’t live to see the final movie. Despite that, the first public showing of the film - on the UK’s largest cinema screen no less - was pure celebration, with Jason Bradbury hosting a post- screening Q&A, classic Spectrum games playing in the foyer, and the likes of Clive Townsend and Julian Gollop reminiscing with fans until last orders. If you get a chance to see the film, make sure you do.
