Held on September 26th at the America Square Conference Centre in London, The 2024 Women in Games Awards was an inspiring celebration of the incredible women shaping the UK games industry. The event brought together some of the most talented and influential figures in gaming, showcasing the vital contributions women are making across all areas of the industry—from development and business to creative work and communications.
T
he event wasn’t just about individual accolades; it was about honouring the collective progress of women in an industry where achieving gender
parity is still an ongoing challenge. With so many women making strides in traditionally male-dominated fields like game development, business leadership, and marketing, these tenth awards served as a reminder of how important it is to celebrate these trailblazers. Their work not only helps level the playing field but also ensures future generations of women in games will have even more opportunities to thrive. Supported by a record number of sponsors, the event was as much about community as it was about awards.
It brought people together to celebrate not just the winners but the spirit of collaboration and progress that is helping reshape the industry for the better. Our congratulations to the winners and
thanks to everyone that nominated someone for an award. Special thanks too to our record breaking sponsors: Amiqus, Code Wizards, Dlala Studios, Easton Smith, Firesprite, Gowling WLG, Green Man Gaming, Liquid Violet, Playdemic, Playground Games, Renaissance PR, Rocksteady, Supermassive Games, Ukie, and our charity partner Future Dreams.
