Electrolux Group has announced that Yannick Fierling will be appointed as President and CEO of the Group, effective 1 January 2025. Mr Fierling was most recently CEO of Haier Europe between 2015 to 2024; he left the company in April this year. He will succeed Jonas Samuelson, who said earlier this year that he would depart Electrolux Group. “Yannick is a very experienced leader with a solid background in the appliance

industry,” Electrolux Board of Directors’ Chairman, Torbjörn Lööf said. “In his latest assignment, he successfully led Haier’s development in Europe.

Yannick’s visionary leadership in developing business, people and forward-thinking technology, together with a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship and a sense of urgency approach, will be valuable on our journey towards making Electrolux Group an even stronger global player in the appliance industry. “The board wants to reinforce and accelerate the strengths of Electrolux Group by bringing in new perspectives. We are convinced that Yannick has the right background, insights and experience, as well as the drive and determination to take the company forward.” Mr Fierling starts at Electrolux Group on 1 October 2024, based in Stockholm,

before formally taking on his new role after a three-month handover period. Commenting on his appointment, Mr Fierling said: “I am grateful for the   a more energising and inspiring role. “I am looking forward to engaging with the Electrolux Group team and in developing and positioning the Group in the years to come.”
