n 1964 when Donaghy Bros were first established, electricity wasn’t even available in most Irish homes (let alone the Worldwide Web). But that didn’t deter Sean, Gerard and Tommy from their ambitious vision: to make electrical appliances accessible for all. As the expansion of electrical infrastructure made its way to more rural areas in Northern Ireland


Sean’s two sons James and Dermot, Donaghy Bros still holds to that same ambitious and progressive vision for the future. In the ever- changing retail landscape, businesses that survive are businesses that adapt to the market and their customer’s needs. That team of 3 brothers has now grown to a thriving business employing over 60 members of staff with a multi award winning website, an impressive 14,000 sqft showroom in Kilrea and a new 16,000 sqft experience centre in Limavady. With a 75,000 sqft warehousing facility, Donaghy Bros are now supply 1000s of appliances every month right across the UK and Ireland, proving that Donaghy Bros is still exuding excellence in electrical appliances 60 years on.
