talian company renowned for the production of kitchen appliances since 1882, Bertazzoni is synonymous with Made in Italy across the world.

Situated in Emilia-Romagna, Bertazzoni sits suitably in what’s known as the ‘bread basket of Italy’ and area renowned its agricultural abundance and home to the likes of Parmigiano Reggiano (parmesan cheese), Balsamico di Modena (Balsamic vinegar) and prosciutto de Parma (Parma ham). Inspired by nearby world-famous cities like

Turin, Bologna and Milan, Bertazzoni brings together the unique Italian flair for engineering and design to create products that not only function perfectly but are beautifully stylish and elegant.

Ongoing evolution Although born from humble beginnings in 1882, Bertazzoni has grown into the world’s oldest family-owned appliance company thanks to its dedication to exceptional engineering and a deep commitment to food and family values. From its original wood burning stoves in the early 1900’s to a now several hundred-strong product portfolio, Bertazzoni has grown its appliance offering through a deep understanding that the kitchen is at the heart of family life. Designed to help people bring the best home- cooked food to the family table, Bertazzoni appliances help people to prepare and serve food with precision, flair and flavour – today, tomorrow and beyond.

Latest innovations

Inspiration for Bertazzoni kitchen appliances is taken from many industries, particularly automotive, fashion and furniture, the latter of which is a specialism in the region of northern Italy where the business resides. Much akin to a classic car, designs that have stood the test of time are simple but effective and built on a strong foundation. For Bertazzoni, this is evidenced in the knobs and terminals devised for the Heritage Series in 1910/20s. These remain today, but style and technological elements have developed to complement, rather than conflict, these fundamentals. Continuing a spirit that has run through six generations, Bertazzoni has announced a raft of new products and innovations for 2025 which include:

• Decorative metal trims for induction hobs • Air fry function on built-in ovens • Black glass fridge freezers • Built-in coffee machine • Slimline dishwashers • Slot under stainless steel dishwashers with handle choices from three styles

Foundations for success This year marks Bertazzoni’s 143rd anniversary and two historical milestones have been achieved by the brand in the last 12 months. In February 2025, Paolo Bertazzoni, CEO of Bertazzoni, was inducted into the Kitchen & Bath Industry Hall of Fame class of 2025. For more

than 30 years, the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) has honored individuals who embody the spirit of the kitchen and bath industry while contributing to its growth. Paolo earned the honour for successfully stewarding the brand since 1978. Appointed CEO in 1999, Paolo is among the few Europeans inducted into the Hall of Fame.

In April 2025 Bertazzoni launched it’s first ever single-brand showroom in central Milan. Situated in the vibrant Durini Design District, the facility has been designed to offer an immersive experience, allowing visitors to discover Bertazzoni’s excellence up close. Featuring more than 60 products, including complete suites of appliances, the space spans 230m² across three floors and also showcases the brand’s latest innovations.

A moment in time Bertazzoni UK & Eire marks its 8th anniversary in May and has grown a solid internally-managed distribution network in that time. Now working with several partners, the brand operates from headquarters in Cheshire and is excited about things to come. “We’re very pleased with how the brand has been, and continues to be received and are very much of the ‘slow and steady wins the race’ mentality,” enthused Paul Whyte, commercial director at Bertazzoni UK & Eire. “We’ve still got a lot of plans to pursue

and are looking to the future with optimism, ahead to the time when we achieve our ever- evolving ambitions. We’re excited at what’s to come and are looking forward to continuing the journey along with our retail partners, who have been an integral part of the Bertazzoni UK story since 2017.”
