Premium appliance brand AEG has officially launched its new Built-In Kitchen Range. Matt Broughton takes a closer look, exploring the innovations and advanced technology to be found within.

Among the standout options is the sleek Matt Black colourway, which has already earned a prestigious Red Dot Award, recognition of its exceptional aesthetic and functional design. AEG’s latest appliances, including the 8000 Series SteamPro Oven, feature the new Cook Smart Touch Display, an intuitive interface that automatically sets optimal cooking settings to deliver perfect results. It enhances the cooking experience for more efficient usability of advanced functions such as SousVide and combination cooking, offering step-by-step

guidance with eco-tips that can cut energy use by up to 21%.[1]

Cooking with the SteamPro function allows consumers to retain up to 90% of food vitamins and holds an A++ energy rating. Its sleek new look includes ‘infinity brush’ steel detailing and a full-metal handle, blending performance with premium design to ensure it fits in every kitchen. The 6000 series Induction Hob, specifically

from the new SaphirMatt range has a sophisticated matte black glass finish and has been made with glass that is up to 4x more scratch-resistant.[2] The hob is one of AEG’s most energy efficient and is designed so that consumers no longer have to compromise on style to achieve functionality. AEG comments on the launch: “We’ve created our most energy-efficient kitchen range yet, putting user experience and design at the heart of every detail. This range strikes the perfect balance

between advanced functionality, with innovative features like AI Taste Assist, and timeless design that seamlessly fits into any modern kitchen.” The range also includes the 8000 Series Integrated Fridge Freezer and 7000 Series GlassCare Dishwasher, both A-rated for energy, cutting carbon footprints by 38% during the use phase, thanks to smart features like QuickSelect with EcoMeter.
