are increasingly drawn to compact ovens that offer better efficiency than full- size models. These units, which combine multiple cooking functions, are seen as smarter, long-term investments, especially for smaller households and busy families.
Looking ahead, Cello plans to expand its range with more innovations. “Air fryers and compact ovens have become permanent fixtures in modern kitchens,” Mr Rourke explains. “As the replacement market grows, consumers want next- generation models that meet improved expectations at a value price.” While details are under wraps for now, Cello

proven to be a winning formula, with sales driven by both functionality and aesthetics. “Our current star performer is the 11-litre, 13- in-1 air fryer and compact oven in Sage Green (AF901A-GR),” says James Rourke, Head of Sales and Sourcing at Cello. “It can cook a full roast dinner in half the time and at a fraction of the cost of a traditional oven, making it a household favourite.”
While performance is key, design has become a major factor in consumer purchases. “Sage Green outsells Ash Black at a rate of 3 to 1,” Mr Rourke reveals. “This shows that consumers now prioritise design just as much as functionality and price. In a market saturated with similar-looking air fryers, people are gravitating toward appliances that add personality to their kitchens.” The Cello AF901A offers versatility with 13- in-1 capabilities, including air frying, roasting, grilling, baking, and dehydrating, all in one energy-efficient unit. “There’s a clear shift towards multi-functional products that save space, reduce energy bills, and look good on the counter,” says Mr Rourke. “Our compact ovens appeal to cost-conscious, design-savvy buyers who want practical upgrades without sacrificing style.”
Energy savings are another significant factor. As utility bills remain high, consumers
