Hotpoint launches new brand campaign
Hotpoint has launched “Just Come Over Season,” a new brand campaign built around everyday British homes and the confidence to host spontaneously.
Just Come Over Season forms part of Hotpoint’s
wider Brand Equity campaign, backed by a multi- million above-the-line investment across TV, BVOD, SVOD, YouTube, radio and digital audio, alongside further investment in social and influencer content. The campaign is supported by nationally
representative research of 2,000 UK adults, carried out by OnePoll in 2026, revealing significant untapped demand: eight in ten Brits say they would host more spontaneously if their home and appliances could keep pace, with 30 per cent citing an unorganised
home as the main barrier to inviting friends round at short notice. Central to the campaign is Hotpoint’s technology demonstrating how Hotpoint’s appliance range takes the friction out of last-minute hosting – from ovens with air fry, steam and pizza-oven functions that adapt instantly to any request, to fridge freezers, and dishwashers that take the effort out of the clean-up. For kitchen retailers, designers and specifiers, Just Come Over offers a clear commercial rationale for choosing Hotpoint: by putting the brand at the heart of a relatable, everyday moment – spontaneous hosting – the campaign builds consumer recognition nationwide. Partners specifying or stocking Hotpoint appliances benefit from customers already
recognising and asking for the brand – making Hotpoint an easier, more confident recommendation at the point of specification. For more information, visit

AMDEA launches new brand identity
Iceking & Cookology become approved suppliers to CIH
Iceking and Cookology, kitchen
the British-designed appliance manufacturer, has been
appointed an approved supplier to Combined Independent Holdings (CIH), the UK arm of Europe’s largest electrical buying group, Euronics. Representing around 450 independent retailers operating more than 600 stores across the UK, CIH is part of the wider Euronics network, which brings together independent retailers and brand partners in more than 30 countries. The organisation has a combined annual turnover of €25.3 billion (£21.62bn) and has been supporting independent electrical retailing for more than 60 years. Andrew Wright, Founder of Cookology and Owner
of Iceking commented, “We’re always looking for new ways to leverage our brands, and so partnering with CIH is yet another positive step towards greater B2B collaboration, strengthening national supply chains, and advancing how our products perform on the shelves of high street retailers. “We launched our first house brand, Cookology, over a decade ago with the aim to bring stylish, reliable, and high-quality appliances to homes up and down the country. Adding Iceking to our product mix in 2025 means we can offer CIH members a complete catalogue of complementary ovens, hobs, cooker hood sets, fridges, freezers, and wine coolers so they can serve real needs and bring extra value to their customers.”
From 1 July and throughout the Summer AMDEA has revealed it will be evolving its’ brand identity which it stated is “to better reflect the increasing diversity of its members”, which now incorporate all aspects of the UK appliance industry including manufacturers, importers, distributers, retail members with their own appliance brands and its Associate Members representing the wider value chain. The AMDEA name will be retained but its logo will no longer reference ‘The Association of Manufacturers of Domestic Appliances’. The new-look AMDEA logo will incorporate the strapline ‘The UK Home Appliance Association’.
AMDEA CEO Stefan Hay said: “When I took on
my role last year I promised evolution not revolution. The AMDEA team has been steadily building membership services and implementing a new rolling five-year strategy, membership is growing rapidly to incorporate the wider appliance sector, and we are increasing our engagement with a wider range of government departments and MPs as the voice of UK home appliances.” The Association’s new brand identity will be phased in over the summer.
