Beko retains World’s Most Sustainable Companies title


Beko has once again been recognised as one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies, securing a place in the global Top 20        against stringent KPIs on environmental and social  Beko rose to 17th position from 44th in 2024, despite tougher criteria being introduced. Key drivers include low-carbon production processes, expanded use of recycled materials, rigorous ESG reporting and early adoption of green standards across Europe and emerging markets.


Recent results highlight the impact: renewable energy capacity in manufacturing reached 90.2MWp; 27,835 tonnes of recycled plastics were used in products; 1.86 million WEEE units have been recycled since 2014; and energy-efficient or low-carbon models accounted for over 70% of turnover.
