Q - Is there anything else independent electrical retailers should be aware of? MM: “I think having this new partner in Henley Audio will make us more visible in the UK market, or it will give us an opportunity to grow our visibility in the UK market. We will also be doing more training, more launch events and more press events, and the benefits of this for the dealers, should be a wider awareness of the brand.”
After getting the lowdown on the business side of things from Ms Mehr, software engineer, Dominik Bätz, took us through the technology of Loewe’s newest flagship model, the stellar 97. The stellar series also comes in a range of smaller sizes, all with the same features, same finishes and same dimensions. On this point, Mr Bätz says:

We hear from Richard Bunn-Major, retail manager at Music Matters in Stratford-on-Avon about their experience stocking and selling Loewe.
Q - How long have you supplied Loewe products, what products do you sell? Richard Bunn-Major: “We have sold Loewe products for over 20 years since the days of CRT.”
Q - How well do these perform in your store? RBM: “Loewe performs very well! If you have a discerning and wealthy demographic, you will succeed with Loewe.”
Q - What’s the support like in terms of customer service and aftercare for customers? RBM: “Customer service and after sales is exceptional. It’s a small service team that we have a strong relationship with, very important when trying to solve issues quickly and effectively.”
Q - How does Henley/Loewe help/support with the Loewe shop-in-shop concept?
Dominik Bätz:: “The 97-inch we realise is a niche size, and won’t be for everyone, but it’s also available in 42-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch 77- inch, and the 83-inch. Also, it’s very special, because if you have a big screen in the living room, you can have a completely matching model in a smaller size, in the kitchen, in the bedroom, etc, available in either the concrete or aluminium finish. This sets us apart from our competitors, as they will normally only have big models in one range, and then smaller models in another range, and they have no finishes that compare with ours. “The stellar series is made in our German
factory, and features OLED, Ultra-HD technology and Dolby Vision IQ Precision Detail, for a fully immersive cinematic experience with very deep blacks and really saturated, rich colours. “It also has a 300-watt soundbar with smart ‘
magic.light’ lighting underneath. The hidden LED light bar offers discreetly illuminated welcome and farewell animations, or an atmospheric lighting in warm white during movie watching.
RBM: “We took the opportunity with Loewe to invest in a full shop display which lifts the presentation of our store, looks fabulous, and gives the customer the ability to compare products effectively.
“Henley Audio have become the sole UK distributer recently so we will see how well they cope with the supply of this premium TV in time. If they provide the same service they have done with Pro-Ject, HiFi Rose and Musical Fidelity it is going to work well.”
Q - Is this concept highly managed, or do you have creative freedom to play with the concept? RBM: “The concept and brand are managed from Loewe HQ in Kronach, Germany; We are free to market ourselves and the Loewe brand in our local area. Loewe have recently had a global advertising campaign featuring Kylian Mbappe to raise awareness of the brand. Hopefully, we will see more of this type of activity in the future as I am sure it would raise knowledge and interest of the brand in the consumer marketplace, possibly leading to even greater success for ourselves and the wider dealer network.”
“It can be adjusted in any other colour of the rainbow, at different brightness and saturation levels as well as in various individual steps for animation duration - or of course also be deactivated if desired.
“Also, the Loewe

rotates the TV on the motorised optional Loewe floor stand motor stellar by the touch of a button on the Loewe remote. This is good as it means you can angle the TV to suit your seating position wherever you are in the room, easily.
“The new Tizen OS 8.0 is a fast, premium smart operating system with an extensive app store featuring localized apps and popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Samsung TV Plus, and more. It supports advanced networking, including Miracast and Samsung SmartThings. It’s great for gaming too, featuring Samsung Gaming Hub, which offers instant cloud gaming access to platforms like Microsoft Xbox and Nvidia GeForce NOW, for the ultimate gaming and streaming convenience.” 1187

Q - Why would you recommend stocking Loewe products? RBM: “If the customer demographic supports a desire to spend on a premium TV brand I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend stocking Loewe. It is an exceptional product, combined with an achievable margin and super service from Henley Audio, it is one of the best brands we work with in store.”
