ERT Awards 2022 finalists revealed!

The final shortlist for this year’s ERT Awards has been announced!

For the Retailer categories, a panel of industry experts recently convened to discuss and deliberate which businesses they thought were worthy of an ERT Awards trophy. Meanwhile, the entries for the Manufacturer/Supplier categories have been voted for by electrical retailers from all corners of the industry – and this year we had more votes than ever before! Head to the ERT Awards website where you can see the full list of this year’s finalists:

ertawards.co.uk/finalists. The winners will be revealed at the prestigious ERT

Awards ceremony on Thursday 27 October at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London – once again bringing together retailers and suppliers to recognise excellence across the whole electrical retail industry.

Don’t forget to book your tickets for this year’s event here: ertawards.co.uk/book-tickets. “Thank you to all the retailers that took the time to vote for the Manufacturer/Supplier categories over the past few weeks,” said ERT magazine Editor, Jack Cheeseman. “And a big thank you to the judges for deciding this year’s Retailer winners; we couldn’t do it without you!”

ERT Awards goes green! As a key event in the industry’s calendar, it is important for us as the organiser of the ERT Awards to play our part in the fight against climate change.

So with the help and support of our amazing

sustainability partner, AMDEA, we plan to complete a rigorous data collection process and we will be working with renowned carbon

reduction engineers to make the ERT Awards 2022 a carbon neutral event! We hope to calculate

footprint of the event and we will offset this by supporting some fantastic sustainable projects around the world.

all whole carbon 5 Bertazzoni marks fifth anniversary in the UK

Bertazzoni is marking its fifth anniversary in the UK; a year in which the family-ran business celebrates 140 years since its humble beginnings in Guastalla, Italy. Since launching to the UK and Eire market in 2017, the Italian kitchen appliance brand has grown from strength-to-strength, increasing its product portfolio. Initially offering only the range cookers for

which it is famed, Bertazzoni has since evolved into additional product categories, now offering a full suite of appliances, including built-in ovens, ventilated hobs, cooling columns and dishwashers. Maurizio Severgnini, Managing Director of

Bertazzoni UK and Eire (pictured), said: “There was a clear gap in the UK market for Bertazzoni and we’re very pleased with how well the brand has been adopted by the trade and consumers alike. “Bertazzoni has grown steadily throughout its

140-year history, successfully surviving multiple wars, countless recessions and numerous natural disasters to produce the highest quality, most beautifully-designed cooking, cooling and dishwashing appliances.

“In the UK, just like in other markets, our entire operation is based on three core values – family, food and engineering – all of which aligns with what we anticipate will be the focus for years to come.”
