The new Unlimited 7 multi-use handstick from Bosch Also hitting the market in May is the new
Unlimited 7 multi-use handstick from Bosch. “Our customers are expecting cordless products
to perform as strongly as a corded vacuum cleaner, and our new model does exactly that,” confirms Louise Pateman, Category Manager Indoor Cleaning, BSH Home Appliances. The German manufacturer has been developing
its high-performance motors for over 80 years, and Ms Pateman says the brand is so confident in the durability and cleaning power of its new vacuum that it comes with a 10-year motor guarantee. In terms of convenience and usage, key features
of the Unlimited 7 include a new brush bar, which has achieved 99.9 per cent dust pick-up in testing. In addition, the nozzle will turn 180 degrees, so it’s easier to get into corners, and the tube bends to 90 degrees for easy cleaning under furniture. A really useful feature is the easy parking clip,
which you can attach to a chair, shelf or table to stop the appliance falling over. Ms Pateman continues: “Speed is of the essence
for our customers, so they need to know the vacuum can keep going as long as they need it. We’ve put a higher power battery in the Unlimited 7 to give 40 minutes running time (in Eco mode without the electrical brush), 10 minutes more than previous models.
“And as with all Unlimited models, the 18-volt
battery can be switched with any battery in the Power For All Alliance range, so you can charge one battery pack while using the other!”
The indoors outdoors
Don’t forget, it’s not just indoors that needs tending to. We’ll soon gradually head into the warmer months, and what better time for outdoor Spring cleaning, whether it’s a general wash down of the patio, fencing or decking, or deep-cleaning garden furniture or outdoor toys. With garden spaces
increasingly becoming an extension of our homes, consumers need the right tools for the job. Luckily, Ewbank recently launched its outdoor range. The AQUAROVER140 pressure washer (you can see right) is versatile with four wheels and easy manoeuvrability; there’s a fixed brush attachment, built- in detergent tank and adjustable spray nozzle.
With its 140 bar pressure rating and 7.8
litres/minute maximum flow rate, Ewbank’s exciting first foray into the world of outdoor cleaning gives time and autonomy back to the user. Clare Dixey, who is Marketing Manager at
Bluestem Group, which distributes the Ewbank brand, says pressure washers remain popular year- on-year. “They belong to a continually-expanding
market boosted by the effects of lockdown, and this is expected to grow at an annual rate of over 4.3 per cent before 2026 to reach almost £4 billion. “What’s more, traditional
corded pressure washers provide excellent cleaning performance, but can be large and difficult to move. Cordless pressure washers offer users the freedom to move about whilst cleaning.” When you’re done, Ewbank’s WDV15 wet and dry vacuum can be used to remove leaves and debris as well as clearing any waterlogged areas of decking or patio with its 15-
litre capacity!
