Clever cleaning Robotic vacuum cleaners continue to be a perfect solution for those who are time compromised. According to manufacturer research, consumers have said they consistently look out for the most up-to-date technology when it comes to floorcare. As it just so happens, Samsung has recently

launch the Jet Bot AI + (above), what it claims is the world’s first robot vacuum that comes equipped with a 3D active stereo-type sensor and intel AI solution. The 3D depth camera found on the vacuum – equivalent to 256,000 distance sensors – can precisely detect obstacles as small as 1cm. In addition to this, the object detection on the Jet Bot AI + can prevent the unit from getting stuck on small obstacles in its cleaning path. But by far the most popular style of vacuum at

the moment is cordless, with more advanced technology coming all the time, such as powerful suction, improved battery life and LED screens. Previous grievances about cordless cleaning are being revoked, with many consumers converting.

For example, the award-winning range of QX

vacuum cleaners from AEG offer versatility so you can quickly switch from cleaning floors, to counter-tops and reach up to ceilings and corners. The ergonomic full-tilt design means cleaning

under furniture or hard-to-reach places is easy. The vacuums are also designed for powerful cleaning for longer, without any loss of suction power as the dust bin fills up. At Beko, the recently-launched Smart

PowerClean Pro delivers up to 210W of suction power thanks to the PerformCyclone Technology. In addition, Auto Surface Detection will adjust the power according to each floor type, while the LCD screen gives real-time updates, such as time remaining, charge status and power level. The appliance even notifies users when there is a blockage, outlining which part of the appliance needs to be cleared. Finally, Smart PowerClean Pro also features

PowerClean’s best features, including ActiFlex and the EPA 10 filter. Says Vijay Bhardwaj, Marketing Director for

Beko UK and Ireland: “We are also excited to announce the launch of our brand new ErgoClean cordless vacuum cleaners, offering a perfect lightweight solution to cleaning on-the-go. “With an impressive 45 minutes run time, this

vacuum gives users plenty of time to complete their full cleaning routine. The LED lights on the main cleaning head illuminate places with low light and the crevice and dust brush tools provide that extra touch of flexibility.” And similarly, Samsung has reported of great

response to its Jet vacuum range, with 200W suction power, an airflow-boosting design and cyclonic filters. The appropriately-named housing for the Jet is

the Clean Station, which automatically empties out the Jet’s dustbin and there’s a highly advanced dust filtration system – called the Anti-Dust Emitting Structure – that has been verified by

AEG's QX range Hisense cordless

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to prevent ultrafine dust from getting released back into the air while the dustbin is being emptied out.

Longer-lasting power Although, in order to keep going like the Duracell Bunny, your customers might want to consider the Hisense HVC5262AUK, which runs for a “market- leading” 70 minutes and doesn’t sacrifice the vacuum’s pick-up performance, the brand says. “Recently, technology and innovation in the

appliances industry has meant new floorcare products are offering a lot more efficiency and longer-lasting battery power, so our customers can keep their homes dust and dirt free,” comments Matthew Glynn, Product Marketing Manager. “Consumers are still time poor as they juggle

work and home life, so cordless vacuums offer the versatility of flexible charging and easy maintenance to fit in with busy lifestyles. This means that they also need to deliver with excellent pickup on both carpets and hard floors.” Hisense launched its first-ever vacuum range

only last year, but with a portfolio of convenient and easy-to-use products. “We prioritised offering products with long

runtimes, meaning users can clean more rooms on a single charge,” reports Mr Glynn.
