and assessed, eight stores across Leeds.


This retailer was established more than 30 years ago, is a member of the Sirius Buying Group and delivers products within a 15-mile radius of the store.


I was looking to buy a new vacuum cleaner. Inside the store, I was greeted by Nicky, who was sat behind the counter. I explained what I wanted to buy and she said she only had a few models on display. She led me to the front of the store and said that, in her opinion, the best model that she currently had in stock was a


Bosch model (BBH3280GB), which was priced at £199.


She demonstrated the two-in-one function


by removing the handheld device from the product. Nicky said the vacuum cleaner has two performance levels, a maximum runtime of 55 minutes and a charging time of five hours. Nicky said that she had the same cleaner at home and that she’s very happy with it and she encouraged me to lift it to see how light the model was.

Nicky did very well – showing the handheld device and encouraging me to lift the cleaner were attempts to close the sale. The store was well presented inside and out.
