ERT’s Matt Broughton spoke to Beko’s Regional Managing Director, UK & Ireland – Teresa Arbuckle – about the year so far, and the 12 months ahead.


Q&A


Q: How has business been at Beko for 2025 so far? Teresa Arbuckle: It’s been a transformative year for Beko UK & Ireland and one that we are truly proud of. We are bringing together two already strong businesses (Beko legacy & Whirlpool legacy) to create one even stronger, market leading, entrepreneurial organisation with an enhanced portfolio of brands and incredibly dedicated people. We continue to perform strongly in the market,


growing and maintaining our #1 position in the MDA category, with our strong branded positions in the electrical retail sector. We’ve also seen solid growth across key categories, driven by our commitment to deliver tech-enriched, affordable, and energy-efficient appliances that offer tangible consumer benefits.


Q: What will be your main highlights at Euronics Showcase this year? TA: We have so much to share with members this year! We love the Euronics showcase as it’s our opportunity to present our latest products, ranges and innovations across our full portfolio of brands, including Blomberg, Hotpoint, Indesit, Beko, Leisure, and Zenith. We’re particularly excited about Blomberg & Hotpoint in 2025. This will be a transformative


year for Hotpoint, marked by the launch of multiple new product ranges. A highlight for us will be our new, stylish and matching range of built-in appliances. At the Euronics Showcase, we’ll have our chef on hand to whip-up culinary delights and demonstrate our latest technology, including new features like Active MultiFlow, AirFry, EasyGrill and Pizza 310.


Another key highlight for Hotpoint will be the


re-launch of refrigeration, bringing enhanced performance, innovative new features, and a fresh design update to the range. Hotpoint will also benefit from a significant consumer-facing investment later this year where we’ll be live with our latest brand advertising campaign, reaching millions of UK consumers and increasing their likelihood to buy our new products. For Blomberg, Euronics’ fully exclusive agency brand, stand #120 is where we’ll be showcasing our latest built-in products, including a pyrolytic oven, a combi multi-functional oven, and a warming drawer. We will continue to focus on Blomberg’s impressive 5-year guarantee, increasing the number of appliances that are included, which underscores our commitment to quality, reliability, and customer peace of mind.

for Hotpoint, starting with significant product innovation across multiple categories, including Cooling, Built-In


Cooking and Laundry – Hotpoint’s heartland. These new product ranges are the fuel that the Hotpoint brand needs, and we’re really excited to share them with our Independent retail partners at this year’s Euronics Showcase. This, combined with ongoing innovation across the full brand portfolio, sets us up for success for years to come. Last year, like so many before it, saw us launch significant product innovation, notably in the laundry category with SpinSave for our Independent channel exclusive brand – Blomberg. Plus, we introduced EnergySpin for Beko, which uses our innovative drum movement to dissolve detergent faster and with less heat, resulting in up to 35% less energy being used in everyday wash programmes. For Blomberg, we also introduced a premium built-in, multi-function oven with pyrolytic self- cleaning functions and a matching compact combi microwave oven, which is designed for ultimate flexibility and convenience. It functions as a traditional oven, a microwave or a combination of both, cooking up to 50% faster when compared to a conventional oven.
