It has grown steadily since then and now has branches from Marlborough and Wincanton, to Nailsea, Swindon and Worcester, as well as all round its Bristol heartland. In the beginning of 2016, Kellaway Building Supplies bought Bridgwater based company Western Timber and Building Supplies Ltd, acquired the Head Office premises. and also purchased Premier Timber and Building Supplies Ltd in Worcester.

Since then, the firm has expanded across thirteen sites across East Anglia, offering paint, timber, glass, ironmongery, tools, landscaping, building supplies and kitchen and bathroom products. It has also been known as a kitchen and bathroom specialist since 1963, when the company first moved from Colchester High Street and opened a purpose-built site at Layer Road.
