From there, I support Mike and Luke in the Resales team to keep established territory transactions on target for completion and coordinate with banks to ensure transactions happen in line with agreed timelines. “Another key part of my role is

mogen Clarke has been a part of Home Instead since 2013 and now leads their Franchise Development team. As Head of Franchise Development, Imogen manages


both Franchise Development and the Home Instead Resales brokerage, supporting individuals who are further along in the process of joining the network or looking to sell their franchise. As the business has grown to over 265


offi ces, most available opportunities are now in established territories. Imogen plays a key role in helping potential new owners join the business and works closely with existing franchisees looking to grow further within Home Instead, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria to take on further territories and have the right plans in place. Here, Imogen explains more about


her day-to-day role… “A typical day usually begins with conversations, focused on franchisees who are interested in selling,


managing the Home Instead Resales brokerage. As a franchise with over 20 years of history, we help franchisees who are looking to exit their business, often due to retirement. I oversee franchise valuations, marketing and fi nding the right buyer for both the seller and Home Instead. “Alongside these responsibilities, I


also represent Home Instead externally; travelling to events, exhibiting at industry shows, and speaking sessions such as the BFA educational forums or hosting webinars, where I can talk about all things franchising. I also enjoy recording our popular Talk Franchise podcast, where we discuss all manner of subjects from fi nance to multi-unit ownership. It’s a great way of helping people to explore whether this path is right for them. “The most rewarding part of my role


is watching someone’s journey unfold. Whether it’s supporting a franchisee to successfully sell their business or helping an ambitious owner expand into multiple territories, seeing that growth, both professionally and personally, is incredibly inspiring, and it’s what brings me back to this work every day.” 
