How did you get involved in franchising? I was keen to start a new company and make a real contribution to my local community but did not want to go it alone.
What's your career highlight so far? Becoming the top performer in the UK network earlier this year with our Glasgow North offi ce.
What was your childhood dream job? I watched Top Gun in my early teens and wanted to be a fi ghter pilot!
Who's been the biggest infl uence on your career so far? My father – and I still seek advice from him.
How do you relax? Trying to outsmart my 4-year-old son or bingeing on a psychological thriller box set.

Tell us a little-known fact about you… I’ve travelled to over 60 countries and once bumped into Kylie Minogue.
What's your... drink of choice? Virgin mojito or Irn-Bru.
...ideal holiday destination? Dubai.
Who are your fantasy dinner party guests? The cast of Goodfellas – it's my all-time favourite movie.

Who’s providing the dinner-party soundtrack? Deacon Blue, Simple Minds and Duran Duran.
Who’d play you in the fi lm of your life? Will Smith.
Do you support a local sports team? And if so, why? I’m an avid follower of Celtic Football Club. My uncle took me to a game when I was seven and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What’s your top business advice/what philosophy would you say you live by? Planning is 80% of any project – a well- thought-out plan will give direction to your business journey. My philosophy is: always enjoy the journey. Although it’s crucial to have goals in place, it’s just as important to have fun and enjoy it along the way.
Fictional or historical character you most identify with – and why? Muhammed Ali – he rose from a humble background to become the greatest. He touched many lives and gave a lot of people hope, inspiration and charity.
How would you like to be remembered? As someone who made some people happier.
