Just Cuts has built a name for itself in its native Australia with its chain of popular and successful hairdressing salons. Amber Turnbull, UK CEO and general manager of Just Cuts Franchising, shares some facts and fi gures to support the brand’s growing reputation: • Three per cent year-on-year growth • A new salon opens every three weeks • More than 3,500 stylists globally • 100,000 cuts and styles a week • 5.2 million clients walk through its doors annually
• 220 salons worldwide, in Australia, New Zealand and UK – the largest hairdressing franchise in the Southern hemisphere
• 116 individual franchise owners • Only 22 franchise owners were actually hairdressers before they joined

Amber says: “Our aim is for franchise
owners to have 20 per cent retail in the business. It’s all about adding the value to the clients and guaranteeing the quality of the cut, along with recommending the right products. “We introduced a loyalty app where
customers can get points on their cuts and spend it when they next visit the salon. They can also check into the queue online and get there sooner. It means they can join the queue remotely and do other errands while they wait their turn. "We provide convenience to our clients and remain true to our ‘no appointment, just walk in’ policy. We believe that it’s important to reward our loyal clients too, with the app giving them extra rewards.”
