FOODSERVICE CONSULTANT

Pushing boundaries A

s we slowly transition from spring into summer, we also turn the page into a vibrant

new season for our industry and I am filled with a deep sense of pride and optimism for what lies ahead. Te foodservice landscape continues to evolve at a breakneck pace, and as members of FCSI, we find ourselves at the center of innovation, collaboration, and progress. Over the past few months,

we have witnessed the continued emergence of smart kitchen technology, a growing demand for sustainability and energy efficiency, and an intensified focus on labor-saving solutions. In this issue, we highlight two areas where these trends are making a significant impact; the elevation of foodservice in entertainment venues and the ongoing innovation within the quick-serve restaurant sector. Tese stories highlight how both sectors are pushing

boundaries to enhance the guest experience and streamline operations. Operators are looking to us as trusted professional consultants for guidance on how to navigate these challenges and opportunities. Whether it is reimagining kitchen workflows, integrating automation, or sourcing equipment that balances performance with environmental responsibility, our role has never been more vital.

REMARKABLE INNOVATION

One of the most exciting recent events for our foodservice community was the 2025 FCSI Te Americas Symposium and Te NAFEM Show ‘25, held this past February in Atlanta, Georgia. Te energy and excitement in the Georgia World Congress Center was electric, as thousands of professionals from across the industry came together to share, support, and inspire. Te innovation on display was nothing short of remarkable. From recent advancements in AI-supported equipment to modular, flexible kitchen systems, the show underscored just how much creativity and problem- solving exists in our field. What struck me most,

however, wasn’t just the technology, it was the connections and people. Te

conversations on the trade show floor, the dynamic presentations during the Symposium, and the informal gatherings after hours, all reminded me of the strength and power of our network. It is clear that our community is not only prepared to meet the demands of today’s market but also shape the future of foodservice in meaningful ways. Looking forward, our

focus remains on mentorship, continued education, and fostering global partnerships. Trough our shared expertise and commitment to excellence, we will continue to raise the standard for foodservice consultancy worldwide. Tank you for your

dedication, your passion, and your belief in the power of our profession. I look forward to seeing many of you at the many upcoming FCSI events, and, of course, continuing the dialogue that keeps our industry moving forward.
