En muy poco tiempo, la perseverancia de Jade se vio recompensada, o como ella suele decir, se sintió ben- decida en el momento en que las puertas de ‘The Gar- dens of Babylon’ se abrieron para recibirla bajo su man- to. Shishi Meriwani, su fundadora inmediatamente se dio cuenta del gran potencial y talento que tiene esta chica, por lo cual le dio la oportunidad de tener sus primeros shows y la hizo sentir bienvenida en la familia de The Gardens of Babylon.


Uno de sus grandes amigos fue el productor y DJ do- minicano Vander, con quien recientemente estrenó ‘In- tergaláctic Tango EP’ feat. Mâhfoud, el cual cuenta con remixes de Pandhora y Chambord. El EP se estrenó a finales del mes de mayo y ha sido catalogado como un estupendo trabajo en donde instantáneamente qui- en lo escuche será teletransportado hacia un destino de ensueño cargado de sonidos exóticos provenientes del sintetizador de Mâhfoud y endulzado con las cálidas vocales de Jade.


“Siento que para mí la escena dance va creciendo cada vez más, cuando descubrí este tipo de música tuve un ¡AHA moment!, percibí mucha buena vibra, felicidad, una comunión dentro del dance floor que no había visto an- tes, eso es ‘The Gardens of Babylon’, un show completo, no solamente es una pista de baile, hay muchos ele- mentos artísticos que se combinan, hay tanta riqueza en sus eventos, la gente abre su corazón, no es como una fiesta mainstream donde nadie se conoce, o donde no hay un vibe, y en donde en realidad se pierde la in- tención original de la fiesta que es esa conexión con la divinidad personal. Encontrar una comunidad como The Gardens of Babylon cambió mi vida, encontré gente que amo y con la que conecto, es maravilloso que ahí todos podemos encontrar esa familia cósmica ¡Wow, mi vida cambió tanto desde ese entonces!”


“Bailar es la clave de todo, al mover el cuerpo se crea una conexión con lo divino, la mayoría de mis bendi- ciones han venido a través de la danza, si bailamos avanzamos más es algo místico. Por siglos, la danza a sido descrita como un elemento crucial entre culturas, se ha demostrado que se puede llegar a altos grados de conciencia”.


Además de presentar su música en ‘The Gardens of Babylon’, a principio de año Deer Jade unió su talento junto al de Nico Schwind en donde entregaron el track ‘Imhotep’ perteneciente al EP ‘Inner Sky’ de Schwind, vía Stil vor Talent. “Stil vor Talent fue quien nos conectó, pasamos un par de días en un estudio en Berlín, hubo un gran flow, me encantó trabajar con él, nos llevamos muy bien, nos centramos en algunas melodías y el track resultó ser algo muy especial, Nico es muy talentoso”.


Sus producciones poseen una textura en sintonía y úni- ca, un lienzo sónico tan tangible en donde sus melodías y sonidos interactúan de una forma tan idílica, algo que pocas veces se puede disfrutar con otros artistas, por lo que le cuestionamos si existía un plan o estrategia para adaptar esa característica tan suya en los difer- entes sellos donde su música ha sido firmada. “Mi músi- ca surge de forma espontánea, en un principio real- mente uno no puede controlar como va a salir un track, uno tiene que sentarse, jugar con los sonidos, estar ahí y escoger lo que te gusta, explorarlo, editarlo, así surgen, a mi me gusta esa libertad, quiero crear algo original, todo lo que construyo surge de diferente forma. Mi in- spiración viene de un lugar muy misterioso, mágico, es especial, creo que cuando uno está con los pies en la tierra, uno abre esos portales de recepción los cuales permiten que se de el sonido a través de vibraciones, aún continúo aprendiendo, esto es un viaje, a veces ten- go esos momentos donde me siento estancada o no sé que hacer, pero los supero y sigo mi camino”.

Shishi Meriwani, the founder of it, immediately realized the great potential and talent that this girl has, for which she gave her the opportunity to have her first shows and made her feel welcome in the family of The Gardens of Babylon.


One of her great friends is the Dominican producer and DJ Vander, with whom she recently released ‘Intergalác- tic Tango EP’ feat. Mâhfoud, which features remixes by Pandhora and Chambord. The EP premiered at the end of May and has been cataloged as a great work where whoever listens to it will instantly be teleported to a dream destination loaded with exotic sounds from Mâhfoud's synthesizer sweetened with Jade's warm vo- cals.


“I feel that for me the dance scene is growing more and more, when I discovered this type of music I had an ‘aha moment’, I perceived a lot of good vibes, happiness, a sense of community within the dance floor that I had not seen before, this is 'The Gardens of Babylon' - a complete show, it is not only a dance floor, there are many artistic elements that are combined, there is so much richness in its events, people open their hearts, it is not like any mainstream party where nobody knows each other, or where there is no vibe, and where in reality the original intention of the party is lost, which is that connection with the personal divinity.


Finding a community like The Gardens of Babylon changed my life, I found people I love and connect with, it's wonderful that we can all find that cosmic family there. Wow, my life has changed so much since then!”


“Dancing is the key to everything, moving the body cre- ates a connection with the divine, most of my blessings have come through the dance, if we dance we advance more, it is something mystical. For centuries, dance has been described as a crucial element between cultures, it has been shown that higher degrees of consciousness can be reached”.


In addition to presenting her music at 'The Gardens of Babylon', at the beginning of the year Deer Jade joined her talent with Nico Schwind where they delivered the track 'Imhotep' from Schwind's 'Inner Sky' EP, via Stil vor Talent. “Stil vor Talent was the one who connected us, we spent a couple of days in a studio in Berlin, there was a great flow, I loved working with him, we got along very well, we focused on some melodies and the track turned out to be something very special, Nico is very talented”.


Her productions have a unique in-tune texture, such a tangible sonic canvas where her melodies and sounds interact in such an idyllic way, something that can rarely be enjoyed with other artists, so we asked her if there was a plan or strategy to adapt that characteristic sound that is “so her” in the different labels where her music has been signed. “My music arises spontaneously, at first you really can't control how a track is going to turn out, you have to sit down, play with the sounds, be there and choose what you like, explore it, edit it, that's how they arise, to me I like that freedom, I want to cre- ate something original, everything I build emerges in a different way.


My inspiration comes from a very mysterious, magical place, it is special, I believe that when one is down to earth, one opens those doors of perception, which allow sound to be given through vibrations, I am still learn- ing, this is a journey, sometimes I have those moments where I feel stuck or I don't know what to do, but I get over them and continue on my way.”
