INSPIRATION
09
If possible, try to line up the gap at the centre of the face at the bottom of the veiling.
10
Line up the diamonds at the back of the ball and hold the veil in place with pins.
11
Cut off the overlap behind the pins. You will end up with one overlapping row of diamonds.
12
At both ends, you need to include an extra diamond of the next row to get a smooth transition.
13
Pin the overlapping diamonds exactly on top of each other together.
14
If necessary, snip off any untidy bits but be careful not to cut in the diamonds as they will unravel.
15
Put a tiny bit of UHU on the diamonds to keep them in place before you sew them together.
16
The glue also keeps the diamonds from unravelling. Wait a few seconds before you paste the diamonds together, just until the glue gets a bit tacky. Do not squeeze but tap the parts together, to avoid the glue showing.
17
Trim off any double lines (from the next row, see step 12) at both ends before you sew the diamonds together.
